I stopped at Mavis with a simple question about whether I might have any type of warranty, considering I drive my car less than 7,000 miles. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling very disappointed.
I understand it was early in the morning, and I even apologized if I was catching the person at the desk at a bad time. But I felt like there was absolutely no patience for me trying to explain why I was there. The balancing issue happened when I previously took my car to them, so I simply wanted to ask questions and understand my options.
Because I felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience, I decided to say I would just take my car to my mechanic. At that point, he began asking me questions, including whether the light on the wall was the light showing on my dashboard.
Let me make something very clear: just because I am a female does not mean you should treat me like I am an idiot. I may not be a mechanic, which is exactly why I ask questions when something is wrong with my vehicle.
Customers deserve patience, respect, and the opportunity to explain their concerns without being made to feel stupid or like they're bothering someone. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I still expect the kind of respect and customer service we once felt when we walked into the shops in our hometowns where people listened, treated you with kindness, and genuinely cared about helping you.
A little patience, kindness, and respect can go a very long way.

Impressive! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! While on a cross country trip, I had a flat tire. Made an appointment for the next morning - first of the day! The manager was early and started the paperwork so things would move along quickly. The technician was clear on what to expect. Everyone on the team was amazing.
