Technician was 2-3 hours late to appointment, I had to call and ask if he was still coming that day, he didn’t call me. Charged me for new wiper blades when I didn’t ask for them ($200 more than what I should’ve payed). Called 4 times to get a refund and has taken them almost 3 weeks to do so.

Made an appointment to replace my windshield online. They called that morning to tell me they could not recalibrate the car in the field. So they offered to do it right away if I could bring it in. Service was fast, everyone was friendly and courteous, and they did a great job. Windshields have gotten really expensive though.

It's never fun to have a crack appear on your windshield. The employees at safelight were tremendous at making a stressful situation feel manageable. I'm grateful for their hard work and honesty!

Tylor was my tech. He had the install and calibration done in less then 2 hours. The man deserves a raise or a bonus. Very professional and polite. Keep me in the loop on everything he was doing. Called me when he was going for the test drive. You know what a caring technician should do. He was awesome. Could not be happier with everything.

I went into get a chip filled on my windshield this last week. The tech who was working on my car said that I actually had two chips in the windshield, not just the first one I had noticed. He shkwed me where the second one was. And told me not to worry, since he said my insurance would pay for both. They had also initially told me that it would take about 45 minutes to complete the fix. But overall it ended out taking over an hour and a half to complete. I had assumed it took so long because they were filling two chips instead of just one. He gave me my keys and said it was all done. However, as I was leaving I noticed that the second chip hadn't been filled in. Weird.. I hope he didn't charge my insurance for work that wasn't completed! At one point in the middle of the "fix" he pulled my cabin air filter out. (Which WAS dirty, to be fair. Full mostly of pine needles) And he asked if I wanted to have it replaced by them. Now, I have done these several times before on my own cars and knew it was a $5 part from Amazon and took about 2 minutes to complete the replacement myself. However, Safelite averages a cost of about $145 to replace it for you. No thanks! So, I told him I would just do it myself at home. The following day when I did go to replace it myself. I noticed that the tech had made sure to jam all of the free floating needles back into the filter port with the old filter. Rather than simply turn it over to dump them out before putting it back in. Not a very professional or classy move if you ask me. I'm guessing he must've been mad that he hadn't gotten his commission for the exorbitant replacement fee. It's really unfortunate when bad customer service like this happens. I hope others don't get treated like this as well. That being said, I like supporting my local businesses when I can. But I guess if they're going to treat customers like this. I'll take my business elsewhere next time I need my windshield serviced. 🤷‍♂️
