  Rob’s Import Repair saved the day last week. My son was traveling out of state and had issue with a strange sound coming from his brakes. We were desperate, he was wanting to drive another 9 hrs back and needed someone to inspect the brakes within a short turnaround. Rob’s said come on by in the morning, and they’ll take a look at it. Within an hour of them having the car, they diagnosed it, and repaired it. The price was extremely reasonable. They saved the day. Happy to say he made it back home safe and sound. Highly recommend Rob’s Import Repair.

  I am a new customer with an older Infiniti product, somewhat rare. From first contact the shop was welcoming and relatively optimistic about prospects for maintaining my SUV including its rare IRS components. Rob’s has been a pleasure to work with.

  Brought my 1999 Lexus ls400 in for a suspected bad wheel bearing. They confirmed that the reads were bad. They then told me how much it was to replace them. Total of $3500. Yes its a pita job but not a $3500 job. They said it was so bad they didnt want me to drive it away. I dont think they were that bad but im not a mechanic and they are right? So i took them at their word and said do the job. 2 weeks go by and now im getting curious. So i go down to the shop and the service advisor brings me back to my car and the first thing i noticed was my rear brake calipers hanging solely by the brake lines. Im not a mechanic and i know how bad that is. During this they found that my washer pump wasnt working ( i already knew that) they charged me a $350 diagnostic fee for that. Then they wanted $600 to replace the pump i immediately declined. The part cost $40 and took ME 5 minutes to replace. I wasnt going to post this but after a friend of mine had a similar experience i decided to share mine here. I cant see a scenario in which i would recommend this shop to anyone. 3 weeks and almost $4000 for 2 wheel bearings is absolutely ridiculous. I will say my service advisor was very friendly and professional. Maybe cuz he knew he had a fish on the hook but either way he was nice and that stood out to. Also after about a week they finally agreed to give me a loaner car they said to pick it up on friday. I didnt know nor was i told that they close at 12pm on fridays. I show up at 1145am and no one is there. Keep in mind i got an uber there because they have my car. I call a few times no one answered. I had to get a rental car for the weekend. once monday comes around they call me and apologize. I head down to pick up the loaner car and its an old corolla which is ok its a loaner no one expects a loaner to be nice but this thing was ROUGH. I barely get home which is only 15 minutes from the shop and several lights pop up on the dash including cel. The car bogged down and stalled several times so i bring it back and was like hey this car is literally dying on me. They did give me a different loaner but it was just inconvenience after inconvenience. Dont know how this place has such a high rating ive only heard horror stories from this place and had one myself. I tell everyone i know to stay far away from this place.
