James is the best. This is a great place to do your car inspection. I am wowed by the service offered. I was doing breaks service and they inspected my entire car at no charge. This is the best place in WA state. I wld recommend this place to anyone. Linus.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT!!
I had this shop do some front end work, I don't remember the names of the parts they replaced. I paid them $1300 which is a lot for me because I'm poor right now. This was mid May.
Just the other day I was on my way to work, at the top of an off ramp, when my car just stopped. When I looked I found that the front passenger wheel was turned in the opposite direction of my steering wheel. There was a bolt MISSING that connected the wheel to the steering. I'm very relieved this didn't happen while I was going 60 mph on the freeway.
Luckily my company's mechanic was able to patch it up enough to get it to his on site shop, and my boss paid him to fix it for me. He found several bolts were not tightened down and several had cotter pins missing. This an EGREGIOUS oversight and RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT at least.
When I called the shop to ask for my money back I was told that since someone else had touched it there was nothing they could do, and that my only option would have been to have it towed to the shop so they could fix it for free.
1. Are you going to pay for a tow truck??
2. Are you going to find a way to get me home from work today??
3. Why would I let the same shop that messed it up and endangered my life ever touch my car again??
This shop is terrible and they will put your life in danger, do not bring your car here!

Community values aren't something you have but something you do. When I worked with James, I felt like I was being taken care of like part of the community. You can tell he cares about the people that come in through the door.
My car was over 20 years old. He was able to secure a part that isn't made anymore. When they took a closer look, the car was irreparable and I was overwhelmed. I have never been in this position before. James and his team called me back to go over the damage. Then, he walked me through the process of what happens now. He gave me advice on not only how to purchase my next car but on trustworthy makes and models for my needs.
While they were unable to make repairs to the car, I trust them. I'll be bringing my next one in.

I had a couple repairs (~$2,000 in total) and oil changes (~$57 ea) here starting earlier this year. They did work on my front lower suspension and an oil change. The owner stated I would not have any issues on my trip
I went on a long road trip where the sway bar came loose and I had to fix it, replace the tire, and get the wheel straightened. I went on another trip and tried to change the oil (which I have done several times before without issue), while I was away so I didn't run into problems on my way home. The oil drain plug was tightened on way too tight. When I used a 13mm socket head and a rachet wrench (as I had before) it wouldn't budge. When I finally got it to move, the bolt head for the drain plug had stripped and I couldn't get a grip on the plug with the socket anymore. I ended using my vice grips to try to grab onto the bolt to get it off so I could finish my oil change (I had already bought a new plug and oil) and even with a solid grip it still stripped the bolt without it getting any looser.
I brought my car into the shop so they could take out the plug. I offered for them to use the oil and the oil plug I had purchased and they declined using it. When it came time to pay I expressed that "it was unreasonable" for them to charge me since I wouldn't have been back if they hadn't tightened the bolt so much. They became defensive and focused on the fact that the bolt was stripped (which I openly proclaimed I did due to the fact that it was tightened too much) and stated that I don't "just get oil for free" even though I had offered for them to use the things I purchased and would have used myself.
Additionally when I mentioned the sway bar problem, the owner said he looked under and because there wasn't sign of damage he is unsure of what to do. I explained that I was in MI when it happened and I had to fix the sway bar myself and take it to a tire shop where they replaced mine with a used tire and straightened out my wheel there.
Things are standard if you don't have issues, they are immediately defensive and not interested in conflict resolution when there are problems. I didn't even ask for them to pay for the tire repair I had or the extra night I had to stay in MI due to the fact that most tire places were closed that day and the ones open had no availability. I simply asked for the oil change (because they wouldn't just loosen the bolt) they did today to be covered ($57).
I left feeling pretty tilted and still having to pay for a service I would have not needed at all if they hadn't tightened the drain plug far beyond what it needed.
If you've got an older car, just work on it yourself, you don't need to have mechanics tell you you can't change your own oil on your own car without needing it to be completely lifted off the ground.
