I always find decent prices at Maverick, and the staff are usually nice too!!

Nicole is always welcoming and has a big smile on her face every time I walk in there. The syrupe station gets out of hand, but other than that the place always looks amazing!

I’ve been a big fan of Maverick for many years. I go out of my way to find one when traveling. The store on Regal in Spokane (which is closest to where I live) is terrible. It’s messy, poorly run and no one seems to care when I politely point out a deficiency. I mean, how hard is it to put a few hot dogs on the cooker but anytime of day you’ve got a 90 percent chance of seeing an empty rack. If there are some they’re way overcooked and the condiments are empty. Also, you let the soda machine run dry on several flavors and it will stay that way for days. I’m looking for a replacement place to go since this store constantly disappoints. I’m afraid Maverick may be going down the path that 7-11 did. They are loosing their edge.
Follow up 3 months later…. I got a computer generated response to my post 3 months ago. Since I pass this Maverick almost daily I’ve been in there a lot since my original post. Well…things are worse. In response to me and others pointing out they don’t ever have Hot Dogs on their rotisserie, they simply turned off the machine 3 months ago and put an Out of Order sign on it. Three months Out of Order! Hey Maverick, those machines are for sale all over town at Restaurant Supply houses. Oh, it’s not really out of order? That’s just your excuse to not bother keeping it stocked.
Your fountain routinely has Out of Stock labels on flavors and your Monsters are empty in 5 places. Hello? Your store sucks.
So, I now go to Nom Nom down the street. (Regal and 57th) They have hot dogs. They have the soda you’re out of stock on and look at that, they gave fully stocked Monsters.
See ya! In fact it might be See-ya when I’m traveling too. Your stores used to be fun. A special treat. Now they just disappoint.
As much as I like to avoid overly patterned corporate retail outlets that so often try TOO hard to be a certain thing, I have to give it up for Maverik for doing the retail gas and diesel station with an adventurous flair to perfection. The kitchen makes great food, fountain drinks are abundant with voices and good ice, snacks and accessories (high priced as typical of this genre of retail store) galore, and an always accessible restroom with great hand dryers! Bravo Maverik team, you do it all and do it well! And I have one last kudo for management and owners: thank you for always having a well-style high volume water spigot accessible at every location. Numerous times I've had situations that urgently needed H²O, and those spigots filled the need, so thank you for those.
