Jacob, the technician who changed the driver door power window, did a great job. He was courteous, friendly, and completed the job quickly. My auto insurance recommended Safelite and they worked well together, leaving only the $100 deductible for us to pay.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Safelite in Spokane Valley and feel compelled to share what has been a frustrating and exhausting ordeal from start to finish.
The issues began when Safelite installed the wrong-sized windshield in my vehicle. Instead of receiving the correct windshield the first time, I had to wait an entire week for the proper windshield to arrive and be replaced. While mistakes can happen, what followed was far more concerning.
After the correct windshield was finally installed, Safelite failed to recalibrate my vehicle's camera system. I later discovered that I had to schedule yet another appointment at their shop to address the recalibration that should have been completed as part of the windshield replacement process.
When I arrived for the recalibration appointment, Jeremy Allen informed me that the recalibration had been voided. He proceeded to tell me that my vehicle apparently did not have a camera system to begin with and stated that Safelite timestamps everything. He even suggested that I should return to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle because, according to him, there was no camera to recalibrate.
At that point, I was beyond frustrated. I returned to my vehicle, and Jeremy eventually came outside and asked me to open my center console. To everyone's surprise, the camera was sitting inside the console the entire time. It turned out that the original Safelite technician had removed the camera and left it there but failed to document this information in the work order or communicate it to the technician handling my recalibration appointment.
Even after discovering that the camera was indeed present and that the issue stemmed from Safelite's own lack of communication, I never received an apology. Instead, Jeremy simply stated that they could recalibrate the vehicle in a couple of days and that he would personally contact me to reschedule.
That personal call never came.
Instead, a woman from the office called me and informed me that the earliest available appointment was at 11:00 a.m. Desperate to finally end this nightmare, I accepted the appointment and took additional time off work to accommodate it.
When I arrived for that appointment, I was greeted by the same woman who had called me. While I was waiting, another individual arrived for a job interview. Jeremy came into the waiting area, greeted the interview candidate, and never once acknowledged me or the events that had occurred over the previous 24 hours. No apology. No update. No accountability. It was as if none of it had happened.
This entire experience demonstrated a complete breakdown in communication, customer service, and accountability. From installing the wrong windshield, failing to recalibrate the vehicle, misplacing critical equipment, accusing me of not having a camera system, failing to follow through on promised communication, and showing no ownership of the situation, Safelite repeatedly failed to meet even basic customer service expectations.
I can honestly say that after this experience, I will never use Safelite's services again, nor would I recommend them to others. Customers deserve better communication, better accountability, and at the very least, a sincere apology when mistakes are made.
Safelite, please do better.
