  Tony’s crew did an amazing job on my 1971 Monte Carlo!! They gave me a detailed estimate (with pictures) which was fair and honest. Tony worked with me to get better within my budget. She runs beautiful now. Thanks Gateway!

  My window motor has been broken for years. I called them, and they had it done and put together by the end of the week. Im stoked to have it repaired, should of called a long time ago!

  Love these guys. No one else would work on my Mini Cooper with the intoxalock installation for an oil change. They know how to use the machine, it did not deny service. I will be bringing my vehicle back to them thanks Tony!

  My 2004 Ford Sport Trac was leaking oil, and power steering fluid. It had over 225000 miles on the speedometer which had not always worked. So there was well over the milage that was on the speedometer. I took it in to have them find where it was leaking from since the drips on the garage floor were turning into puddles quickly. Tony asked if I would like it looked at that day. I said sure. They had a preliminary diagnosis within the hour. Front and rear main seals, the oil pan, valve cover, power steering pump were all leaking. Tony and I discussed the situation, and I decided to put in a rebuilt engine. It took them a couple weeks to get the engine and install it. They kept me informed on the progress. I have the truck back, and let me tell you what a difference in how it runs is amazing. If you need any engine work at all, talk to Tony. There aren't very many garages in the area that have the capable mechanics to do major maintenance on a vehicle anymore. Gateway does. They are friendly and can fix it right the first time. No coming back because it didn't get er done the first time. Thank you Tony and the crew.

  The staff here are always kind and never rude or dismissive. However, I do think their prices are quite high. I was quoted about $3,700 for shocks and struts, drive belt, engine air filter, and carbon engine flush. The shocks and struts are always going to be expensive (it’s dirty work no one wants to do) but they originally quoted me over $1000 for the drive belt and tensioner which seemed quite high. I decided not to go through with the service through Gateway. When I came in to take my car back I got a more reasonable quote. He first asked me if I was going to just get a new car and not bother with the repairs. I said no and explained I did not have that kind of money. The person at the desk (not remembering his name) said the original quote was with premium parts, and gave me a quote about a thousand lower for regular parts. I appreciated his flexibility and being accommodating, but decided to go elsewhere. Got it all done at an independent shop for $1,400. I would not accuse them of scamming; I’m sure they have high overhead with multiple shops and they seem like kind people. Beware that the first quote they give you may be pretty high, and even the second quote was questionable to me. I was getting ready to buy the parts myself and spend a weekend doing it with family after getting that quote from Gateway.
