The person who talked to me at the front desk was nice and friendly. Everyone was. They clearly have upgraded technology and can give a lot of information...but considering A) you can get some places to check a code for free or if they charge they put that money toward later repairs but Gateway charged around $265 and looked at all possible wrong when I only wanted to know what the code said and B) they clearly had the car taken apart enough to take a pic of the dirty filter but wanted to charge around $175 To replace it (most of which was for labor we already paid for) and twice what a filter itself generally costs, I was very sad to walk out paying almost $400 for an oil change and an inspection that anywhere else I've ever been was closer to $150-$200 at most. Sometimes, technology feels like an excuse to charge more. I doubt I'll ever go back. I was supposed to get $5 off for every $50 and I'm pretty sure that didn't happen either but I just can't bear to check. This country is just breaking us.

Good company, good mechanics. Always take my car here except for things I can do on my own because I trust them to properly evaluate and repair my vehicle.

Great place to bring your vehicle for repairs\! My car ended up being a pretty big project, but they worked with me throughout the entire process and kept me well informed every step of the way. I really appreciated their communication and service. I’ll definitely be back if I run into any car trouble in the future!

As always the folks at Gateway Sedro - Woolley take wonderful care of both of my vehicles and me. Hard to find good mechanics, and I scored with these guys.
