  I had a great experience with the Seattle Gerber location at Thorndyke in Interbay. After hitting a coyote at 60mph, I chose this location because they are listed as Nissan certified on my insurance company's shop-finder. I appreciated the professionalism and good communications from Kristina at the front desk and Payton, the estimator. Both of these women kept the process moving smoothly, kept me informed, and answered all my questions. I appreciated Payton's attention to detail. Gerber's text notification system is also nice. This is the way to run a service-oriented business.

  I was skeptical of using Gerber since reviews vary widely depending on the location but I was extremely impressed by the quality of the repair and how their automated text service kept me up to date on everything that was happening. Customer service was excellent. Communication from my advisor was punctual and clear. Would use them again!

  Limited options through my insurer and when they said I would have to take my car to Gerber I was regretting it cause of things I’ve heard about the company. As I suspected getting any response from the estimator or any clear communication was like pulling teeth. However the saving grace was Kristyna who I believe works the front desk here. If it wasn’t for her trying her best to always accommodate and pull clear timelines so I could know what was going on, I might as well have had a crystal ball to figure out when my car would be done. Hence the 5 stars. The 5 stars is for the service I got from her though, there’s no points for repairing the car per contract cause that’s kinda expected I would hope. I was told the estimator would keep me posted on the status and updates but once the car was dropped was radio silence until I called for an update.

  Terrible repair shop. There were dumpsters blocking the entrance no signs marking the place to park for express repairs. I get there for an express appointment for the incompetent girl behind the counter to not know how to use the system to pull the information already sent to her by insurance. It was quicker and a much faster experience to just go to Caliber vs staying there to give her all the information she should have already had. I am not going to trust my repairs to a shop who doesn't know how to use their own computers... When I pointed out thr confusion with parking and the blocked parking lot, I was told that my expectations were off. Expecting to be able to easily park for them to do the inspection with the information sent to them by the insurance company that they chose to be an express shop for is apparently having high expectations because illegally parking in the street for an inspection seems like the expectation to have.

  I’ve taken my car to Gerber twice for two different things and both times were a fantastic experience! They always take such good care of my car and are so professional with their work. The communication on the repair status is prompt and top notch. Everyone I’ve worked with is so kind and understanding. I know I can trust them. If I ever need work done on my car again, I’m taking it here!
