So, just a witness to a most egregious misuse of managerial power at the downtown Seattle AutoZone and quite literally blatant profiling of a customer by the store manager, Patrick. As for what happened it went as follows: I entered the AutoZone on Monday, May the 18 between 5:00-5:10p.m. Approximately 5 or 10 seconds after I entered, another man around the same age as me entered the store as well. As I made my way down the second aisle to find my items I noticed that the employee (Manager Patrick) had stopped the man that had just entered and had told him to leave. At this point the customer had not done anything, had not said anything, and as far as I could tell had literally done absolutely nothing so far in the store. When the Man asked Patrick WHY he was being denied service, Patrick could not and WOULD not give him any semblance of a reason for kicking him out. It seemed to me as though these employees had literally just profiled this innocent Man as some kind of possible thief when he had done nothing wrong in the slightest except exist. After I experienced this absolute masterclass from Patrick, on exactly what NOT to do as a Store Manager, I could not in good faith continue with my shopping at this establishment so I put back my items and walked out of the store while asking an employee if they could tell me WHY exactly I had not been treated this way as well by staff? I would definitely avoid the Downtown Seattle AutoZone Auto Parts from now on if you would not like to deal with any situation like the one I witnessed today. It was down right racial profiling that I witnessed today. š¤

Big thank you to each and every one of the store associates here for always helping me out with the utmost professionalism. Skye Alisha and Patrick will get you right, no issue! Thank you guys.
Be careful with the sales scams. I walked up to the counter with oil, an oil filter and some oil treatment. The associate asked if I wanted an air filter. I told him no, I just changed it. He told me it was āFREEā because I was purchasing STP. I said what the heck, if itās free Iāll take one. He went to retrieve it and couldnāt find one in the store. No biggie as I already changed it a week ago. Well I always elect to get my receipts via email so you can imagine my surprise when I opened my email and saw that not only was I charged $18.99 for an air filter that they didnāt even have in the store but I was only credited $16.98. So basically I payed this store an extra $2.01 for a product they didnāt have, I didnāt want and I didnāt receive. I will never give any more business to AutoZone. I hope you people reading this donāt fall for the āitās freeā scam. $2 isnāt a lot for one person but add up the many times they pull this stuff!!
Was honestly blown away by the helpfulness of Patrick, Journey, and the rest of the staff. I was looking to replace the battery of my 2010 Honda Accord. Not only did Patrick ring me up quickly, but he came out to the parking lot to help me install it. He tested my old battery first to make sure it needed replacing (and offered a refund in case the old battery was still healthy). What I most appreciated is that he went out of his way to show me what he was doing and give me tips on how to maintain battery health (esp since I donāt drive this car regularly). Since I donāt know much about cars, it was really helpful to learn from Patrickās 30+ years of experience. Couldnāt recommend this location more highly!

Patrick held down the store by himself this morning. I witnessed his strong skill and expertise of the store, products, and mechanical advice. He made wait times like a community event. He multi-tasked like a pro answering the phone and prioritizing everyoneās needs. Iām grateful I came to this location and appreciate people like Patrick showing up at this level and servicing our community. Great job!
