  Arrived to pick up the car and the agent told me just go pick whatever car you want. I questioned her a couple of times and she said they will check you out when you’re leaving. They did that indeed but charged me double! On returning the car, I was asked how customer service was and I told her. She was very apologetic and said it just happened to somebody else and it would be a minute to get my receipt as she wouldchange it to reflect my quote had been when I booked. About an hour later, I got the receipt with the full charge. Nothing was changed. Such a scam. Watch out for national!

  Car was loud due to packing tape on windshield repairs made. Ride inside was uncomfortable and loud due to tape as well as rear window malfunction (kept opening) controls did not work (had to pull over to close it by hand) I rent from National every week and this was by far the worst vehicle I’ve ever gotten from the “executive” section. I understand things were busy in Seattle due to the World Cup etc. but better care needs to be taken on checking vehicles out. My ride was miserable from Seattle to PDX due to vehicle given and charged $288 for. Hope next car is better.

  Most recent experience was great. This is the expectation from National since they have proven over and over that they are the king of rental car companies. Landed in Seattle during FIFA. They were completely prepared for this influx even though I was oblivious up to a week prior. Walked the isle, picked car of MY CHOICE which happened to be a new car with 5 miles on odometer (nice bonus). No counter lines, just pick your car and go. Brief check of reservation, checking your driver license and you are away on your travels.

  I signed up for a premium four-wheel-drive pick up truck and when I got there I was assigned a Ford F150. I went to the truck and it was nothing more than a white work truck with high mileage cloth seats and a scratched up bed. I went back to talk to the agent and she was very kind and gave me a GMC with only 5 miles on it. She made this very easy for me even though it’s what I had ordered she honored it. Great truck great experience.

  I've been renting from National Car Rental at SEA-TAC almost every week for the past 4-5 months, and one person has made every single visit exceptional: Theo.
