  Received a call an hour before my reservation pick up time to cancel the reservation because they did not have the vehicle we reserved. The lack of customer service when I asked for a similar vehicle or even smaller to accommodate the need for a vehicle in such short notice cancellation on their end was handled poorly by just telling us they had a smaller vehicle but they would prefer if we went elsewhere because they were not in the office and it was inconvenient to them at that point. I have rented from many car rental companies and have never had such a bad experience like I did with Alamo.

  If there was a "0" stars I would choose that! The Lady that booked my reservation was very rude and actually made fun of and mocked my name, they say the conversations are being recorded so hopefully management will read this comment and listen to the recorded conversation! It was really unprofessional how she treated me for no reason and I was never rude to her even at all. Very disappointing and I will be calling customer service.

  **2nd edit** I returned my rental car today. Billie asked me if I had good customer service. I told her about my experience. She was very kind and apologized that happened. She also refunded me for the cost of an Uber to get home when I did not get my rental at the airport. I changed my rating to 4 stars. Alamo made it right and I'm very happy. *edit to add* After 2 days of repeated calls to Alamo, I did get this resolved. Alamo honored my rate and got me into a car. I appreciate that. It should not have been that difficult. If the agent at the airport would have said *I apologize we didn't have your car last night, let's get you into one today* it would have been a non-issue. The rudeness and dismissive attitude from so many people on the way was unprofessional and disappointing. But I do appreciate that the issue was eventually resolved. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 2. But Alamo needs to do better. Alamo rented my car that I had a reservation for out from under me. Then they refused to honor the rate that I had. Will never use Alamo again.
