- KRKristi ReedJun 22, 20265.0My husband and I found out about Gateway Automotive in Mount Vernon Washington through another automotive shop referral when we noticed this loud clunking sound when we turn the car wheels , decelerating and accelerating. It was a concern since we were driving up to Alaska right now during our Around the World Driving Adventure. Gateway Automotive got us in right away thanks to Avolny this super friendly young lady . The amazing car mechanic Nef performed a completed suspension inspection , a test drive , diagnosed and confirmed the loud clunking issue was originating from contact between the lower engine cover and the aftermarket differential support bracket assembly .Additional repair may be required to address the damaged lower engine cover mounting bolt and threads. Our vehicle is now operating normally at this time . Gateway Automotive went above and beyond considering we just walked in without an appointment. . Nef was so incredibly knowledgeable and also showed us in the garage the issue. Nef completed the trouble shooting in such a timely manner and got us on the road immediately. My husband John and I would totally recommend this auto shop and all the amazing persons that work at Gateway Automotive .( Tanya , Avonly and Nef)Everyone there was so kind!! Thank you Gateway Automotive for all your hard efforts and kindness.

Went to other machines never could find what was wrong. So I took it to Gateway Automotive Experts and took almost a week but they found the problem and ever since my car hasn't turned off. A big thanks to them with there great effort and patience. And for making my car a reliable car again.
