UPDATE.
I want to update my previous review because Les Schwab reached out to me and took responsibility for the situation.
After reviewing what happened, they worked with me to resolve the issue and compensated me for the damage to my vehicle. I really appreciate the way they handled the situation after I brought it to their attention.
Problems and mistakes can happen at any business. What matters to me is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In this case, Les Schwab listened to my concerns, treated the issue seriously, and ultimately made things right.
I appreciate their professionalism in resolving the matter and am satisfied with the final outcome. Thank you to the Les Schwab team for taking care of the situation.
I had a very disappointing experience with the Les Schwab location near Lowe’s in Moses Lake, WA.
I brought my 2016 Mercedes c300 in to have the tires and a CV axle replaced. When I came to pick up the car, two employees told me that they had accidentally hit the rear bumper cover with a toolbox. They took me outside to show me the damage.
However, they pointed to an area on the right side of the bumper where I honestly could not see any damage at all. Since there appeared to be nothing wrong, I told them not to worry about it. Back in the office, I was given a blank form to sign, and based on what they had shown me, I agreed that no repair was necessary.
At the time, the car was dirty and did not have license plates, so I didn’t inspect the entire bumper closely.
A couple of weeks later, after I installed the plates and washed the car, I discovered obvious damage almost directly in the center of the rear bumper cover, including chipped/missing paint. That was NOT the area the employees had shown me.
What bothers me most is not simply that the bumper was damaged. Accidents happen, and I would have understood that. What bothers me is that they admitted hitting the bumper but then showed me a different area where there was no visible damage, leading me to believe everything was fine and to sign a form saying no repair was needed.
I expected honesty and transparency from a professional shop. Unfortunately, this experience seriously damaged my trust in this Les Schwab location near Lowe’s in Moses Lake.
