    Didn't even want to give 1 star Me and my Dad pulled up to the Monroe Jiffy Lube for an oil change and waited outside for 10 minutes. Nobody came out so he pulled in and went inside. The guys were standing at the computer and immediately scolded my Dad for pulling in. My Dad explained that nobody had come out so he just wanted to check in and ask what's going on. The guys scolded him again and then said their system was down. My Dad explained that would have been a good thing to know but the guys were still being hostile so we left. That wasn't the first time they made us wait. This was my 5th bad experience. All of which included waiting with no response or welcome. They also have refused to top off my car, claiming it was still full when in reality, it's a quart low. Would not recommend this location at all.

    When I arrived, no one came out to greet me. After waiting outside for 10 minutes, I eventually went into the store myself. Instead of receiving an apology, I was told the system was down and then scolded by the staff for pulling in without being greeted. The level of service and professionalism at this location was completely unacceptable.

    I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube location in Monroe for about 7 years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. When I pulled up, Andrew immediately quoted me $219 for an oil change. He never entered my VIN, never looked up my vehicle, never checked my service history, and never verified what oil or how many quarts my vehicle actually requires. He simply told me it would take 7 quarts and quoted the price. Something didn’t seem right, so I pulled over and went to the official Jiffy Lube website. I entered my VIN and license plate, and the system pulled up my vehicle along with a quoted price of about $94 for the exact same service. I drove back to show Andrew the quote directly from Jiffy Lube’s own website. His response was, “The website is wrong. There’s nothing I can do.” When I asked if there was someone else I could speak with, he replied, “I’m as high as it gets.” That is completely unacceptable customer service. If your own company’s website is showing one price while an employee is trying to charge more than double without even verifying the vehicle, that’s a serious issue. Instead of looking into the discrepancy or trying to help, Andrew dismissed the entire situation. I’ve trusted this location for years, but after this experience I left without getting my oil changed. I’ll be contacting Jiffy Lube corporate because customers deserve accurate pricing, transparency, and employees who are willing to investigate obvious discrepancies instead of brushing them off. Very disappointing experience. Update: 7.9.2026 After receiving the response below, I followed the instructions provided. I contacted Guest Relations, submitted all the requested information, and opened a formal complaint. I emailed to corporate as well. 4 emails from corporate and not a single one from this private franchise owner. BBB, AG here we come ! I was told the Monroe location would contact me within 24 hours to discuss what happened. That never happened. I received no phone call, no email, no text message, and no voicemail. After waiting, I contacted Guest Relations again to follow up and still received no meaningful response. I appreciate businesses acknowledging customer concerns publicly, but what matters is what happens afterward. In my case, despite following every step requested, there was no follow-up from the Monroe location and no attempt to address the issues I experienced. I'm updating my review because I believe future customers deserve to know not only what happened during my visit, but also what happened after I tried to resolve the matter through the proper channels.

    My wife brought our vehicle to this Jiffy Lube for a simple oil change, and the entire experience was unacceptable. She was asked almost no questions beyond whether she wanted an oil change. No one asked for her name, address, or basic customer information. No one explained the oil options, asked what type of oil we wanted, discussed the filter, reviewed pricing clearly, or walked her through what was being done. Then, without meaningful communication or approval of the details, she was handed a $170 charge and sent on her way. That alone would be frustrating, but it gets worse. When she went to leave, the battery was dead. Staff then claimed the car had its lights on and that was why it would not start. They had to jump the vehicle before she could leave. Now the vehicle still is not starting properly, and we have never had this issue with the car before. I am not going to pretend to know exactly what happened yet, but I do know this: we brought in a vehicle with no history of this issue for routine maintenance, received poor communication, paid an unexpectedly high charge, had to have the vehicle jumped at their shop, and now the vehicle will not start after leaving their care. That is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to guess what service they are receiving, what products are being used, why they are being charged that amount, or why their vehicle suddenly will not start after a basic oil change visit. This location needs to explain exactly what was done to the vehicle, what oil and filter were used, why the total came to $170, why no basic customer information was collected, and what happened while the vehicle was in their possession that resulted in a dead battery/no-start issue. Until that happens, I would not recommend trusting this location with your vehicle.
