  Edwin was great! Came in with a headlight burnt out and without even asking he replaced it for me. Whole process took not even 10 minutes. Wish there was a way to tip at checkout for folks who don’t carry cash! Had zero expectation of someone doing it for me and he swooped right in. 5 stars! Thanks, Edwin!

  Ahead of a long-distance trip on August 22nd, I went to the AutoZone next to Trader Joe's to check the condition of my tires and engine oil. Michelle was kind enough to come out to my car, which was parked far away, to help me. After checking the engine oil level with the dipstick, she let me know that using synthetic oil would extend the change interval. She also said that while the tire tread was fine, they were over five years old from the date of manufacture, so replacing them with new tires would be safer. Michelle is such a wonderful person!

  Shipped used break pads. Arrived in an opened box. Called customer service to return. They say the items cannot be verified and does not accept return for used product. Wow. Unbelievable.

  This store is completely disfunctional. To set the scene: I walk in. I've a short wait in line to talk to staff. Multiple phones are ringing constantly. An automated voice goes off every minute or so saying, "attention associates, a customer online order needs picking". While I am talking with one of the two employees in the store, she picks up the phone 5 times to tell them to please hold *briefly* as if she has any chance of getting back to all of them. I had pre-ordered my brake pads online, and received an email stating they were ready for pickup. Employee goes to a bin and looks for my parts; comes back; oh did you get a phone call? No, I did not. We dont have the front pads, she says. I accept a refund for the order they cant fulfill. She does this, but the amount on the refund is $114. I paid $121. The discrepancy? State tax apparently. "This is all the computer lets me do" she says. I feel bad for this person. I say I will take it up with autozone via email. Ive now wasted my time and paid them $7 for nothing. More time to waste if I want my $7 back. To be clear, the woman helping me was kind and doing her best, clearly, to work within a completely broken system. Autozone however, is useless. go elsewhere.

  I had a horrible experience there a few days ago. I went in there to get some new headlights for 2005 civic, when I went inside there was nobody at the front counter. I stood in line for about 5-10 minutes and noticed there was a lady in a different part of the building so I went over and asked her if she could help me and she told me that “it’s not her job because she’s just the person that directs the delivery drivers” so I asked her if she could at least get someone that could help me and she said that she couldn’t because it was time for her to go home and I proceeded to ask her name was and she gave me a snarky tone and told me it was Nancy. She didn’t grab anyone and instead walked away so I left and went to up to the Oreilys up the street and was helped with excellent customer service. I mean come on autozone learn how to train your people and have them be available to help any customer in need.
