    Highly recommend this dealership! We just purchased our first Volvo from Volvo Cars Tacoma and we were thrilled with the entire process. Our Sales Associates, Jordan and Thayden were exceptional from start to finish, even with our indecision until we found the right one for us. There was no pressure to buy, no feeling that we were being rushed or wasting their time with our multiple visits and test drives. Just exceptional care and patience as we made our choice. The Sales Manager Tony followed up to make sure we had all the information we needed and if there was anything else they could provide to help us feel comfortable with our choice - never to inquire about our purchase plans. Krishna in Finance took the time to explain all the options available with clarity and patience. All around exceptional experience and they have made a customer for life. We love our new Volvo and give Volvo Cars Tacoma our highest endorsement.

    I really gotta give it to my salesman Jordan, having been to 20+ dealerships/salesperson, he’s one of the most on point one and knows the answers to my questions, CPO, car features, warranty, trims Too often I run into situations where I know more about the car than my salesperson, or unenthusiastic people

    Not a great experience. We were looking at certified preowned ("CPO") XC-90s. Of course, the one we were most interested in was sold right before we got there (nothing they could do about that, although a courtesy call would have been nice since we are 45+ mins away). After checking out other similar options we ended up purchasing that evening. Salesperson (and backup sales person) were nice. Financing/paperwork person was also nice but overworked so there was a long delay while we waited for other sales to finalize. Overall, positive experience for the purchase. Issues started immediately. The car we purchased was apparently a quick turnaround. The carpets were still wet from detailing. No big deal, but the strong cleaning smell (in addition to the salespersons strong cologne smell) did possibly mask issues. As we drove the car over the next few days it became obvious there was a strong sour smell coming from the carpet of the backseat. The floor seemed to stay damp, I was concerned there was a sunroof leak. I called in the concern and was blown off. It took several calls to get anyone to agree to schedule a visit. In the meantime the sour smell persisted and started to turn ammonia like. Horrible. Note - the cleaning job was also lackluster, we found personal information (name, address, etc) of the prior owner in the glovebox in addition to the wet carpets. Makes me wonder how comprehensive the CPO inspection really was. When we finally got into the service department it was blown off, as the floorboard was no longer damp (we had pulled up the mats and basically garage parked the new to us car for over a week) they said there was no issue. Did not agree there was any noticeable smell. Crazy since my entire family and friends of my teen all mentioned or confirmed the smell. No offer to re-clean it. I've since spent a lot of time recleaning, trying to air it out in my garage, and spraying ozium. Other issues - was promised a second key (required by CPO). Inquired after a few weeks and no one could find evidence one had been ordered. 1+ month later, zero follow up and still no key. I've continued to notice small issues related to the car - screen needs to be hard reset often. Backup camera basically just shows the back bumper (so unsafe), but I have no confidence in the Tacoma service department, so I have not called to inquire. I realize I didn't buy a new car, but prior experience (at a different regional Volvo dealer) had inspired confidence in the Volvo CPO program, but I'm not convinced Volvo of Tacoma really takes the CPO program seriously given the issues the car I purchased has and the lack of meaningful response to the smell issue.
