  The staff at Federal Way Valvoline was very professional and friendly. The work on my car was done very efficiently and I was ready to get back on the road very quickly.

  I visited the Valvoline on Pacific Highway for an oil change. Everyone was friendly, but the outcome was disastrous. Immediately upon pulling out of the garage, my engine began shuddering and then died. I had to have the vehicle towed to a mechanic, who confirmed that the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor was damaged while the Valvoline tech was providing a 'courtesy' check of the engine air filter. I reached out to Valvoline to address this, but they refused to take any responsibility for the damage they caused. Because the shop would not make it right, I was forced to pay for the tow and the repairs entirely out of pocket ($270). I went in with a fully functional vehicle and left with a non-running one. Save yourself the risk and avoid this location. The 'convenience' is not worth the potential damage and the lack of accountability. I will not be returning to Valvoline and would recommend finding a more competent service center.

  I had a good experience. I have been getting the oil change on my VW Jetta from Jiffy Lube since the last 10 years, A friend of mine told me to try Valvoline. Everyone was EXTREMELY courteous. The person who helped me was VERY honest and forthright.

  I went here to have my car serviced. I pulled to the shop around 9am in the morning. I was happy that their was no line and Jose was exceptionally professional. The team did a excellent job with the full synthetic oil change, this was about under 20 minutes. I also had my A/C recharged here. At first I, was a little nervous and skeptical. Jose was able to vacuum, reclaim and recharge my system on my vehicle. Their was about less than 6 ounces of refrigerant in system and it was past due. The A/C process took about almost a hour. They was able to recharge it to 19 ounces and put the pressure at the right level. The total value for everything was decent. Thanks Jose and the rest of the; Federal Way, WA Valvoline Associates.

  I came here for my first time today. I am a creature of habit with a shop I'd been going to for years, but they aren't open on the weekend and I have been so busy during the week, it just wasn't happening for me. I took a chance on these guys and I can confidently say I will be returning. Ian and Jeremiah were phenomenal. Ian was so super informative. He walked me through everything. He went over recommended services in a non-pushy, non-sales pitch-y way. Cheesy, but I really felt like I was getting my car serviced by some of my friends. Everything was fast and smooth. Jeremiah was friendly and efficient. I appreciated his attention to detail. I didn't get the name of the gentleman that checked me in, but he was very welcoming and we shared some laughs within our short interaction. Overall, very pleased with the level of service here and the good work that comes hand in hand. You can tell when people like their job and I think that's so cool when it's reflected in their work. Thanks again to this awesome team!
