  I went to AutoZone and had a very pleasant experience with David. He was very willing and able to help us with our car issues. He fixed three issues we had with a positive attitude and great customer service.GO DAVID he need a raise or a promotion ASAP!!

  Customer help from this store (AutoZone on 21st Ave SW in Federal Way, WA) is impressive, ideal, and how every retail store should operate! I am an elder female who knows nothing about auto mechanics and was sent by my independent mechanic to find an EGR valve for my 1976 hard body pickup truck. Daveed, assistant manager, was the one who helped me when it was my turn in line. He was very kind, patient, and non-judgemental about my obvious lack of knowledge about autos and parts as he asked further questions. He is very knowledgeable at his line of expertise and knew exactly what to research for online (he mentioned that he used to have a truck like mine) then found availability in AutoZone’s stock - quite lucky for me - an original Japanese part (rare) was available and at a nearby AutoZone store branch. But before he sends me off to that store to buy the part (writing the exact part # and other info on a piece of paper), his dedication to help customers in the best possible way did not end there. He advised me to also try and match bolts that will fit the EGR valve when installing (he informed most likely the original bolts on my truck will be rusted and possibly brake off when my mechanic removes them). I ask where I can find and he tells me AutoZone has bolts but if those don’t fit, a hardware store is next option. I go to the other AutoZone store that has the part (Pacific Hwy S, also in Federal Way) and what a rudeful contrast in service I received there. I wait in line (I’m the only person waiting) with 3 salespeople at the registers not helping any customers but scrolling on their phones looking busy and ignoring a person waiting in front of them (me). Finally, after several awkward minutes I call out and ask if someone is available to help me. Reluctantly, one calls me forward while rolling his eyes. I tell him the part I needed showing the piece of paper Daveed from the other store had provided me. He gets the part and does not offer any additional help (no surprise). I still needed bolts and no way was I going to stay and trust anyone in this store to help me any further, so I complete my purchase and head right back to Daveed from the first store. I show Daveed my purchased part (and also let him know what a disappointing contrast in help the other store was) and again, he quickly researched online what type of bolt my truck should get, then went to his inventory and found two options to physically test fit on the new EGR part. Success! Daveed is THE BEST! He is not just knowledgable in autos and parts but is EXCELLENT with customers and servicing them!! How ideal is that!! AutoZone is super lucky to have him on their team!! Not all store branches are managed equal, but when one finds a store that is a gem, one has to share it with the world - highly recommended and praised!! Thank you, Daveed!! Keep up the amazing work you do!!

  Harley is awesome. A real problem solver always trying to help figure out something that will work when typical parts are not in stock or do not properly fit. Friendly, fast and efficient!

  Everyone was incredibly helpful, they let me borrow tools to replace the clamp on my radiator hose. LuLu showed me where i could find them and helped me pick out the perfect clamp. Thank you guys!

  The young lady at the counter was very helpful! Other customers were being helped and I was the only one in the line at the time. She came from the back to help me right away and was very nice!
