  I brought my MACH-E to the Safelite AutoGlass on Everett Avenue. They had everything completed in about a half hour. It was quality work and a pleasant atmosphere.

  1-star review Safelite turned a roughly $70 rock-chip repair into an approximately $2,000 windshield replacement on my Tesla. During the attempted repair, a small chip became an approximately 18-inch crack. The technician’s equipment did not appear to work properly, he needed me to provide an extension cord, and the person who arrived did not appear to match the technician identified in my appointment confirmation. I escalated the matter expecting accountability from the district manager. Instead, the district manager did not call me personally and had the store manager contact me. To me, that showed a complete lack of accountability and an unwillingness to directly address a serious service failure. The entire experience—turning an inexpensive repair into a costly replacement and then focusing on scheduling that replacement instead of explaining what went wrong—left me deeply suspicious of Safelite’s practices. I cannot prove this is intentional, but it certainly made me question whether failed chip repairs conveniently generate far more expensive replacement jobs. Safelite left my vehicle in a substantially worse and potentially unsafe condition, then failed to provide the transparent, senior-level response the situation deserved. I would not trust them with another vehicle.

  This place is awesome! I had a huge chip and crack in my windshield, the worst I've ever had. Zack was amazing. He let me know he wasn't sure if it was repairable due to the size but he repaired it! I can't say thank you enough for the great service I received this afternoon!

  Safelite made this process painless. The staff explained every step before the replacement and when it was completed the technician explained the process and that the recalibration was successful. Wonderful experience.

  I was very impressed with the customer service and replacement of my windshield. I am visiting from out of town this summer so I was at a loss for help. I trusted the advertisements for this company and was pleased. The work was done efficiently and professionally. And, the warranty covers any problem, at any Safelite store, as I drive home.
