  Avoid Colville Auto Repair – Terrible Experience I took my wife’s 2015 Jeep Cherokee to Colville Auto Repair three weeks ago. After an inspection, they told me it needed a new transfer case. I asked for a repair quote, and a week later James called to say it would cost nearly $2,000 for a used transfer case. I told him I’d order a brand new one myself, which I did that same day and dropped it off at their shop. A week later, they called me saying the part I ordered was wrong. I told them I’d get the correct one and bring it in. At that point, Gary told me it would be another two weeks before they could do the install. So I told him I’d come pick up the Jeep and do the job myself. Not once did he mention the vehicle was already taken apart. That would’ve been the right time to let me know. Long story short, they charged me nearly the same amount just to figure out the part was wrong as they would have to actually repair the Jeep. I ended up with a torn-apart vehicle and a ridiculous bill — all without proper communication or transparency. Do yourself a favor and make absolutely sure you know what you’re getting into before dealing with this company. Hands down the worst experience I’ve had with any auto repair shop.
