  I recently contacted Michael’s Collision in Burien after having a very disappointing experience with the repair work performed on my Tesla by Carstar Collision in Des Moines. I learned that Michael’s Collision is a **Tesla Certified Collision Repair Provider**, so I reached out to have my vehicle looked at and get a professional opinion on the work that had been done. I had serious concerns about the quality of Carstar’s repairs and wanted an independent perspective. Michael took the time to inspect the vehicle and listen to my concerns. His professional opinion was that I should take the vehicle back to Carstar and give them the opportunity to correct the work they had performed. I really appreciated that he was straightforward with me and did not simply try to take the repair job for himself. Based on what I experienced, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the work performed by Carstar. When a shop is handling collision repairs on a Tesla, I expect the work to be completed properly, professionally, and to the appropriate manufacturer standards. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. What impressed me most about Michael’s Collision was the **honesty and professionalism** they demonstrated. Even though I was looking for another shop to address the problems, Michael gave me his honest assessment and recommended that the original repair facility be given the opportunity to make things right. I would definitely consider Michael’s Collision for future Tesla collision repairs. Their willingness to give an honest professional opinion, even when it didn't immediately result in business for them, speaks volumes about their integrity.

  Is it odd to review a business that didn't end up doing any work on your car? That's how impressive Michael's business is! I have an old 2007 Toyota Yaris, which will outlast many 2007 cars on the road, but is very ugly! I asked Michael about a bumper and windshield replacement and explained that I couldn't afford a new car, but was looking to make my old car nicer and safer. He gave everything a thorough inspection and offered a modest quote. He also was honest about how what I could afford and what I hoped to achieve, might not make financial sense given what my car is worth. I asked for his honest opinion and he said "Save your money". He could've easily said these are repairs we can do and it'll cost you this much, but because he was thinking of my own goals, he was honest. I was really grateful for his frankness. During his inspection, he also found a bolt that had been installed incorrectly. He said it was a safety concern, and so he got out some tools and fixed it for me for free. Just above and beyond, and a good business practice as well because now I'll sing his praises to anyone who needs autobody work done. Go see Michael!

  Came in with a scratch from a parking incident and it was handled so professionally by Michael and his team. Michael was very direct in assessing damage, communicating the plan, and getting to work as soon as possible. Also went to bat with insurance to minimize costs. The final fix looks great, like there was no damage in the first place! Would go again if in a pinch and will recommend to everyone I know.
