In some ways, the experience was fine. In two ways, it was less than satisfactory. First, when I arrived at the location in Burien, I was initially offered a car that was unwashed on the outside and unclean, obviously dirty, and abused, on the inside with cigarette burns in the backseat, filth across the seat bottoms, and on the floor. Fortunately, when I said that I would not accept the car a substitute was offered. The second unsatisfactory experience was when I was told by the manager at the Burien location that I could return the car by 11:59 PM to the west Seattle location, that information had not been verified with the West Seattle location on 35th. When I tried to leave the car there at 8 PM on the evening of the 15th, in the midst of a pelting cold April rain that chilled me to the very bones, I encountered a sign that said that after hours drop offs were not accepted because of security concerns. So when I returned the car instead at 8 AM the next morning to the West Seattle location and explained my situation I was surprised to to hear that the problem with communication was mine, and that it would be charged for another day of rental. The bureaucratic nature of that response is something that I will not forget. Otherwise, it was a great experience
