If you’re reading this, I hope you’re getting ready to go down to Burien to buy a new Nissan. And if you are you better go see Valentina because she is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. She’s thoroughly knowledgeable on the Frontier, which is what I purchased, And was willing and eager to answer all my questions. If you’re a nervous by first-time buyer or if you’ve bought 100 vehicles, Valentina is still the woman you want to see when you visit Burien Nissan.
Besides Valentina, their whole staff that I interacted with on the Saturday morning I visited was concerned with making sure I was satisfied, which I was. Darryl, the sales manager was great and very friendly. He seemed intent on getting me A deal, even though I switched vehicles halfway through the process. Pete in Finance was fast, efficient, friendly and eager to get me out in the road with my new truck.
Sales Manager Darryl attempted to confuse us by citing an out of state driver’s license and altering the sales tax calculations to disguise a hidden dealer markup. When challenged he became incredibly hostile, rude and began using aggressive bullying tactics to try and force the sale. I recognized this as a predatory bait-and-switch tax scam, refused to sign the final page, and walked out.
They manipulate the numbers at the final hour instead of providing transparent pricing. Buyers should be extremely careful and double check every single math calculation before signing anything at this location.

I will not take my GT-R to this dealership again. EVER.
I have 6 cars, currently. 3 of them are newer, and I service them at a dealership. Here is my experience with these guys.
I made the appointment one week in advance. I told them my "service engine soon" light came on and it may be time for an oil change anyways.
I arrived and the young man checked me in. He asked me to review the information on the screen. He incorrectly filled out the odometer (which he mispronounced, lol). I asked him to correct this odometer again. He came back and said "My bad" after correcting it. He missed 45,000 miles. This would have flagged it with Carfax as a "Odometer rollback" and I would have had a lot of depreciation due to this fact. I told him about the service engine light, and he said "Yeah, for sure, we'll take care of that for you".
Anyways, it took them 2 hours to perform the service. I expected someone with better people skills, or at least someone who at least enjoys their job. This is a heavily modified GT-R, and the guy didn't really seem like he cared, he just wanted to get done.
He almost broke my carbon fiber side skirt when he got out of the car, luckily it's just banged up and not broken.
He did perform an inspection. He noted some things that he needed to (Lower engine cover banged up, brake fluid and power steering fluid needs to be flushed, brakes are good, etc.). He annotated these.
I looked at my bill. $525. I asked what it was for? 299 for the oil change. 109 for the oil. 13 for the filter. and 50 as a "shop charge" which is a "service charge, for gloves and other stuff". Basically, I paid $524.48 for nothing more than an oil change.
They did not even look at my service engine soon light, nor did they reset it. My service advisor, Mariam, said "no, you have to pay extra for that". I explained that the guy that checked me in said you would look at it, or at least clear it", and she said "No, not for free. You have to pay for that, or go to auto zone, they do that for free". I would have paid, no problem, but that was not explained to me.
So, to pay $500 for nothing more than an oil change, and deal with people who have an attitude, is something I will NEVER do again. I will never visit the dealership again. And I'll make sure none of my friends go, either. I'd rather take my money to a place with better people with better customer service.

I had a really great experience working with Jazz! He was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire car-buying process. He made sure I understood everything and worked hard to help me get into a vehicle that fit my needs. I never felt pressured or rushed, and he made what can normally be a stressful process feel much easier.
I really appreciate Jazz’s communication, honesty, and willingness to help. If you’re looking for someone who actually cares about helping you find the right vehicle, I definitely recommend asking for Jazz. Thank you again for all your help!
