  I am writing to formally complain about a failed service that left some of my vehicle’s safety systems non-functional and the rain sensor incorrectly installed. Despite visiting your Bellevue location, calling customer support eight times, and emailing multiple contacts over the last two weeks, I received no response. To rectify these issues, I paid $450 at Chevrolet of Bellevue for a proper calibration and a new rain sensor, which left me without my vehicle for two days. My Allstate agent has been notified and stated they will no longer refer customers to Safelite due to this experience. I expect a prompt resolution regarding reimbursement for these corrective costs.

  I booked for an on site replacement, was called to get told I am not eligible and had to bring it in. This was ok, but when I left I realized that the tech had damaged my A pillar housing. When I asked about it, a different tech cut it more said it “wasn’t a big deal,” but that they could replace if I was unhappy. What should have been an easy windshield replacement now requires me to go back in because my tech damaged my car cosmetically? :(

  I scheduled a mobile repair but the technician no show, no called. So I called back to find out what happened. No apology but they offered the reschedule, I scheduled an appointment with the shop this time. The repair happened but I can still see the cracks and original ding. I am hoping that the repair holds but the customer service was not great, the guy was defensive and not super helpful. Overall, next time I will go somewhere else.

  Safelite is an easy company to work with if you go through your insurance or not. Our Kia Sportage windshield had a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 circular crack caused by a HUGE rock that flew into my windshield and had started to spider out. Our tech who came to our house said it should be about 2 1/2 hours to get done. Our windshield did NOT want to come out and it fought with him every step of the way. He could not get that windshield to budge no matter what he tried. He broke a part of a tool trying to get it to move, the neighbor's dog came at him barking, showing teeth and tried to bite him but he never stopped working on the windshield. Finally I heard a loud pop sound and looked out the window to see the windshield being lifted out. Altogether it took 8 hrs and 20 minutes before the tech finished the job and could leave our house. Our Tech never gave up on getting that windshield out and replaced. He never got mad and never used harsh language either when most people would have been swearing a lot. Our Tech Eric was a true Rock Star of an employee who took his job seriously to the very end. I highly recommend asking for Eric if you get a chance to and live near the Redmond / Bellevue WA area.

  My Appt was at 7am today. I was there at 6:50am sharp. No one was there! No lights in the lobby... I waited outside the front entrance (there were chairs there outside) to the lobby till 7:15am. I later called Safelight customer care to see what the issue was, and the care rep had to call 3 different numbers to reach this location (The first two numbers went unanswered! and this was at 8:45am). After they reached the location, they claimed they were there at 6:50am... which I find highly implausible as, again, the lights in the lobby were completely off, and no one was in the Lobby. The front garage doors were closed as well. IF this location would have owned up to their mistake and admitted they were not there, I would have simply rescheduled,. Instead, they chose this route... and I will not be rescheduling. I've already scheduled at another shop... which I've been in direct contact with since this morning. (They have been extremely helpful!)
