- TWTom WhitacreJun 28, 20265.0Arrived at the Burlington, VT, airport late at night due to flight delays. We had reserved and paid for a rental car with Budget, but we were told upon arrival at their counter that they had already rented out all their vehicles. We were infuriated! RESERVED AND PREPAID!!! Fortunately for us the young man at the Enterprise/Alamo desk worked very determinedly to find us a one-way rental to Portland, ME, which worked out fantastically for us! Kudos to the young man and Alamo!! I wish I knew his name. Maybe you can determine that from the date… June 20 late in the evening… at BTV airport? He deserves a Gold Star!!

- DDDan DillonJun 14, 20262.0When we arrived at our destination, BTV after midnight, we found the Alamo counter was unmanned. That required us to take an Uber (65.00). We had to return the next day to get the rental car. Since we had prepaid, we were told there was nothing to be done except to return the car without filling it with gas. That maybe would be about 50.00 worth of gas. Considering the inconvenience of the counter not being manned then having to return to the airport to pick up the car, that compensation is somewhat pitiful.
