- AWAlba WalterJul 29, 20261.0Rented a truck and car hauler from these people, they never showed up at the pickup location in Plattsburgh. They said our only recourse was to go and pick it up in Essex. On our way to Florida the car hauler had a flat tire, the company said it would take 2 hrs for them to get to us. So here we are stuck on the interstate on the side of the road waiting. I will never rent from them again or ever recommend there company to anyone
- GRGuillermo RosarioFeb 23, 20255.0Penske in Essex Junction, VT from beginning to end of my reservation process, to getting the truck, to losing the keys in the snow to contacting Penske roadside assistance and them working with me to find a solution, to me finding the keys in the snow the next morning as I was shoveling my driveway and calling them to let them know I found them, and neighbors came to plow my driveway and help me get the truck out of the snow so I could return it myself, and last but not least to them being understanding and not charging me the extra day because of the snowstorm and the mishap with the keys because of the storm. I am extremely grateful and appreciative of the efforts of Penske Customer Service, Penske roadside assistance, and Penske of Essex Junction, especially Thomas Powers & Taya Gollsneider, for their professionalism, kindness, caring, understanding and patience with me through all this. I greatly appreciate everyone who helped and everything they did.
- LLLeslie LaHartDec 6, 20231.0After 25 years of using penske. They thank me by doing this ...... Quote for a 26ft truck with ramp $700 Quote for 26ft truck with a lift gate $2600 Really.....$1900 more. Truck works the same either way. Have to have a lift gate because husband is a disabled vet. Retired after 33 years. Way to treat our vets. Then they offer me a discounted rate to hire helpers to load and unload . Total for 4 hours $800 .... Nice discount. Thanks for nothing. Will never use you again. SO SAD! SHAMEFUL!
