The installer was unable to calibrate the sensors, so I had to go back again. They tried to get me to sign a waiver that said I would not hold them responsible for any harm that would come to me or the car because they did not calibrate. I refused to sign.

I was able to schedule an appointment to have it repaired the same day, took about 25 minutes and it came out great! It was definitely worth the money to have it done right rather than trying a diy kit.
- KLKristin LoraJul 28, 20261.0After waiting for 2 hours for my windshield to be replaced at the Barre-Montpelier VT location the man behind the counter told me that the camera calibration failed and that I would have to come back after they ordered different glass. I told him that I had to drive an hour to get there and that I did not want to have to come all the way back. He said that nobody is happy when he has to deliver the news. (Meaning that, this happens all the time...!??) He said he would be calling me. He was unable to schedule the follow-up at this time because he would have to wait for a new windshield to come in first. He told me that they would not charge me until it was totally done. He said my credit card has been authorized but would not be charged until they finished the job. When I got home tonight I noticed that they ran my credit card!!!!! I received a receipt via email that says the transaction has been completed. This is the most horrible windshield replacement experience I have ever had. I had to drive 2 hours today and then wait 2 hours. And they expect me to do this all over again and they already charged me for a job that was not finished.. I'm very disappointed and will never go with Safelite again..
