He took the time to explain things to my husband Warren and we trusted his recommendations that we bought more items. We went to two other automotive places before going to this store. My husband was frustrated before we even walked in the door because of the other two stores. Rick took the time out to explain everything and he even ordered from another store what we needed . We had to pick up the following day. We could’ve picked these parts out first thing the next morning, but we waited until Rick came in for his shift. That is how much we trusted his opinion. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
