- WCwayne covington6 days ago1.0Had an appointment with them for 9:00 been sitting here for an hour. Truck has not been touched. Asking why. Well we are running a bit behind. A bit more than a bit behind. Would not recommend. Finally at 1 and a half hours I asked for my keys back. No comparison was offered not even an apology. My business can go elsewhere.My time is worth something.

The tires are great and I am pleased with my purchase. I had an appointment this morning at 8am that I made about a week ago to have the tires rotated, which is free plus an oil change. I asked them at 9:40am for an update and they were just taking my vehicle into the garage. I had to ask for my key and go to work. I couldn't wait all day. I do think they need to do the work at the appointed times. If you make an appointment at 8am don't make the customer wait until 9:40 or later. I understand that there are times when businesses get busy but at least let the customer know what's going on. I will purchase tires from them again because they have great prices. I will just come prepared to wait.

I paid their price ($197/1tire SUV) only to find out their workmanship is very shoddy, not very good at best. I have had this new tire for 25 DAYS...IT WILL NOT HOLD AIR! What am I to do now!? Hope that I don't have a problem. It is not the fault of Thompson tire discounters, HOWEVER... When a widowed, disabled senior citizens spends their GROCERY MONEY on one tire, that still leaves me with the possibility of getting stranded somewhere. Take your business elsewhere...🙏💔😭 UPDATE: The district manager contacted me shortly after this post. My complaint was FULLY addressed & handled quite satisfactorily...WELL DONE!!🙏
