  It took me 5 appointments to get my windshield replacement. If you have to go to SafeLite, go to the Winchester office and ask for Jacob. Otherwise, I recommend going to Glass America for windshield replacements

  I am required to give a star, otherwise I'd give zero. I was pushed to use this Safelight location by my insurance company. I made an online appt for 9:30am. Dropped my car at 9:15am and took an Uber to my office (not waiting for my car in thier lobby turned out to be a big mistake). By 2pm having heard nothing from them, I attempted to call for an update, only to find that it is impossible to reach the office directly. Safelight forces you to their AI phone assistant who is zero help. So, I took an Uber back to the Safelight location to find that at 2:40p they hadn't touched my car. The woman behind the desk actually looked surprised when she looked up my account and found my car hadn't been touched. She told me she was new to the location but was sent there because "things like this were happening a lot at this location". I guess she needs a lot more time to figure out the problem because there is no doubt that once I left the location after dropping off my car in the morning they promptly forgot about it and prioritized walk-ins who waited instead of honoring my scheduled appointment. She told me my repair would take 2 to 2.5 hours and that she just talked to the service bay and "I'm next". I took an Uber and left for a work appointment. I was contacted at 5:15pm that my car was ready. I went back, was hastily returned my car key and drove home. Halfway home I realized they didn't transfer my inspection sticker to the newly replaced front windshield (sing of a rushed job). I went back the next business day and they looked for my inspection sticker but couldn't find it. The woman who was there on my first visit was nowhere to be found, and the man behind the desk was nice but could offer no help. So I drove my car to my dealer and had it re-inspected, on my dime. This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor, pay more to replace your auto glass someplace else. It will be worth it. Two unnecessary Uber trips $ and a state inspection $ later, Safelight is no bargain.

  I scheduled my appointment to replace my windshield using the Winchester VA location as it’s where I work. It was raining on the morning of my appointment and my technician Wyatt offered to pick my car up from my office and complete the work at their location. I really appreciate that I didn’t have to take time off work or reschedule! Wyatt was very polite and professional. My install only took a couple hours and he did a fantastic job! Highly recommended this company and especially Wyatt!

  Good experience, Safelite took care of everything. I would have preferred a little more info on the do’s and dont’s after the replacement was complete, but overalll, very satisfied.

  Horrible! I’ve used them twice. First time they came to my work to fix a small chip. He completely shattered my windshield and I had to then drive 40miles to the shop for a repair and wait 3 hours for the work to be done. Then this week, I had an appt from 8a-12p for windshield replacement at my place of employment. It was a beautiful blue sky day with no clouds at all! They called me at 8:05 and cancelled because it was forecast to rain 10 hrs later at 6pm. They would have done it if I had a covered place for the installation. I didn’t. So I asked when I could reschedule and they only gave me the option to go into the shop. Wyatt told me he couldn’t schedule a Mobil visit because it’s all AI ! I called customer service and they tried the same thing and offered 3 weeks down the road. They finally gave me a mobile visit next week after I insisted on a Mobil visit because I’m 40 miles from the shop. I even tried to email corporate offices. Of course no one ever responded. Safelute advertises Mobil service and then won’t do it!! It looks like a scam!! Too much hassle , go elsewhere.
