In December of last year (2025) my stepson who worked just down the road from Campus called me to say that his mom's 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport wouldn't start. We towed it to Campus Automotive and asked for their diagnostic service which cost $174.99. They determined that there was a catastrophic internal engine failure likely the timing chain but of course you can't be certain unless you dismantle the motor. Their suggestion was to replace the motor in which they gave us an estimate totaling over $6K. The replacement was higher than the actual value of the vehicle. The most we could get for it scrap was $600 but my wife would not have it so we towed it back home to Harrisonburg costing us $125. My wife then called a traveling repair man and actually got it started. It was running very rough but it was running. At his recommendation we replaced all four ignition coils and the spark plugs. The car started right up and is still running today. I brought the car back in to show them and spoke to Chris. I could see his heart melt when he saw the car. He asked me what was wrong with it and thanked me for not coming in screaming my head off which I think most people would have done. He offered to refund the diagnostic fee (if you ask me they should have paid for the tow back home as well) and apologized. After several phone calls in the following weeks I was repeatedly told the refund was in the works but to this day no refund and not even a phone call back. Imagine we were going to junk our perfectly good Mitsubishi with 118K miles on it for a repair of less than $300. Also, to be outdone by a traveling repair man with limited equipment is embarrassing for them. They could have avoided this review by refunding me. A refund I didn't even ask for...they offered! The cherry is that we just recently moved to Waynesboro and Campus is less than a two minute drive from us. We are a three car family. I guess we will just have to find somebody else as Campus won't even keep their word.

As always. Spencer and his team were curious, honest, informative, and compassionate. I literally work less than a mile from Malloy Ford and always bring all my vehicles to Campus Ford. They are trustworthy and honest about repairs. They are also very informative and compassionate to customers. I greatly appreciate the care Spencer and his team always give me. Thank you to all!

I was heading to West Virginia from Virginia Beach my car broke down around 2 hours from my destination. Jack, Spencer, and the service team got my wife and I back on the within the timeframe they promised even though we weren't scheduled. I appreciate how polite they were and how they kept me updated. I recommend them to anyone!

We had a problem with a dead rodent in my wife's C-Max blower motor. We did not have an appointment, but as you can imagine, this problem was time sensitive and we needed that rodent out. Campus Ford worked our car in and repaired, cleaned and disinfected the area of the rodent's demise within two days. Hat's off to Jack McCutchan, our service writer, and Caleb Word, our mechanic, who did a great job which could not have been much fun.

Bought used car from Harrisonburg Ford that stayed in the shop,I finally called about extended warranty and they said take it to any ford dealership that accepts warranty in which campus ford did.we dropped off and it was checked out and a list of issues were sent to me within 48 hours.Harrisonburg ford never contacted us we had to call them.Campus ford sent itemized issues to me.A little over two weeks warranty issues were done and we paid for the smaller issues out of pocket. As annoying as I am Spencer and his crew were always nice to me when I wasn't.I highly recommend them.
