- ZCzachary corsnerOct 5, 20265.0Tyler and his team at Virginia Speed went above and beyond my expectations while working on my 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. My truck experienced the infamous torque converter failure along with a lifter failure at the same time. After replacing the transmission, the team properly tuned the performance transmission and also diagnosed and repaired a failed lifter that I didn’t even realize was causing problems. With today’s vehicles becoming more advanced and heavily dependent on electronics and software, it can be extremely difficult to find a shop that truly knows how to diagnose and repair modern performance vehicles. I’ve had more than my share of frustrating experiences in the past with shops that couldn’t properly diagnose issues with newer Chevrolet vehicles, especially when software and tuning were involved. Finding a shop with the knowledge, experience, and capabilities that Virginia Speed has is truly a blessing. They took the time to figure out what was actually wrong, fix it correctly, and make sure my truck was running the way it should. I’m extremely grateful for the work they did and the confidence they’ve given me in my truck again. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and capable performance shop, I highly recommend Virginia Speed. They have absolutely earned my business and my recommendation.
- JFJet FanOct 2, 20265.0Tyler and crew took very good care of my 1999 Trans Am Collectors Edition. I had major misfires that they fixed because I measured the pushrods wrong (Math). I had them fix a badly manufactured exhaust and upgrade the stock suspension. As far as OEM and aftermarket parts have zero quality assurance these days. Quality Assurance is what you get at Virginia Speed.
