- DDDevin1 day ago1.0I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Valvoline was bad enough that I need to. I went in for a regular oil change and things were off from the start. While I was waiting, they had my car information wrong, which already raised concerns. Right after I left, I noticed a noise coming from the engine. I popped the hood and saw oil all over the engine bay and the drive belt. I went back immediately, and they cleaned it up and told me the noise would go away. I got home, cleaned up what they missed, and assumed it was handled. I didn’t think much of it after that until recently when my engine failed. When I opened the hood again, oil was everywhere. When my car was inspected by a repair shop, they found the oil filter was installed incorrectly and was loose. That’s what caused the oil leak in the first place. I filed a case with Valvoline, and they denied it, saying I was negligent and should have noticed sooner. Be wary on coming here to do anything to your car. They will not take responsibility for anything that happens to you.
