This past weekend, I brought in my 2002 Eclipse and experienced a completely unacceptable level of service. While under my vehicle, the technician made disparaging comments about my car and called over a colleague to join in mocking it. This unprofessional behavior was disappointing, but what I discovered later was worse. After returning home, I inspected the undercarriage and found that while my oil had been changed, the oil filter had not been replaced. I've always marked my filters, a practice my father taught me, to verify proper service. This is the first time I've had anyone failing to complete a basic oil change. After years of patronage, I expected better. I'll be taking my business to a shop that treats customers and their vehicles with respect, regardless of make, model, or year.
