  Rude over the phone, uninformed staff answering phones. Def tried to upsell and overcharge pieces that did not need replaced last time i went.

  If I could give zero stars I would. I came into pep boys at 8 in the morning today looking for my state inspection to be completed. The second I walked in the woman at the front desk had a problem. I asked her if I could get my inspection done, and she responds by asking me why I didn’t come earlier in a very nasty tone. I apologized and asked if I could make an appointment for tomorrow, as this is something I really need to get done. She tells me they have a first come first serve policy and I am unable to make an appointment. She then tells me that if I want it done today it will be a 6 hour wait. I’m not sure what was going on with this woman today, but your website has a big red button that says “schedule appointment” at the bottom, so either she just didn’t feel like doing her job or she didn’t know how to do her job in the first place. It would have taken 2 seconds to schedule my appointment, or even direct me to the website to do it myself. Instead this woman chose to be rude and impatient. This was an overwhelmingly negative experience and I will not be returning. If you’re going to hire someone to work in costumer service, maybe teach them how to interact with costumers.

  I took my car to this shop for four new tires. A day after the install, a “tire pressure low” message came up for all tires. After speaking with the dealer, I found that the new tire pressure had not been stored. I called to let the shop know that this was not done and I was treated with absolute disrespect. The person I spoke with actually hung up on me. This is the WORST customer service I have ever encountered from an automotive repair shop in Tidewater. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.
