  Brought in my vehicle to diagnose a front noise. The service department gave me an outrageous estimate for doing the repair with additional contingency for additional work not covered by the estimate. When I questioned the estimate I was told that driving a MB is an indication of wealth and driving a “premium” car should expect higher repair cost. Now I called other MB dealers and acquired OEM parts at a substantially lower cost. The estimate I received from this dealer is a firm statement that if you drive a MB be prepared to be taken advantage of your presumed status.

  Singlehandedly the worst Mercedes dealership in Hampton roads. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. Time and time again, ever since this Mercedes dealership became a part of Charles Barker, they never value their customers time. They over promise and under deliver. Their word means nothing. We once waited with a rental for 30 days and the part had not even been ordered. 30 days! But why should they care, they weren’t paying for the rental car. Multiple calls weekly following up on the progress, being lied to by our advisor, and the part had not even been ordered. I never should have given them another chance. The advisers make promises they know they can’t keep. We travel all the way from Chesapeake to the Mercedes in Richmond to have our cars serviced. They get everything done in a timely fashion as promised. They value their customers time. We’ve never encountered such unprofessionalism. Never again will we do business at Charles Barker Mercedes in Va Beach.

  Mr. Chris was about to close for the day as we stopped in. He said because he stayed open he will make a sale. Well he made that sale! We were in search for a business van. With excellent salesmanship, he showed us several cargo vans, explained each, answered questions and gave usable suggestions. He helped us get the best financial support as he researched several financial institutions. Thank you Mr. Chris for your offer and being comfortable with our counter offer.   We cannot recommend Tommy, Kris and the Mercedes-Benz Commercial team highly enough. They genuinely care about their customers and understand how important it is to keep a business moving. One of the main reasons we originally chose to purchase from them was their exceptional customer service and their promise that, if our vehicle ever needed service, they would help ensure we had a loaner so our business could stay on the road. They absolutely followed through on that promise. Tommy personally made sure a loaner vehicle was ready for us and even drove us from the service lot back to the commercial dealership. That level of care, communication, and attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. We will absolutely be repeat customers and highly recommend this team to anyone considering a Sprinter or other Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.
