The employees here were the most understanding and supportive of any we've encountered. During the hours that it took for us to get our part and get our car fixed, they gave our kids a place to sit and rest, along with other support. Would give them 6 stars if it were possible.

Thinking it was likely the battery, I walked across the street to Advance Auto Parts and was greeted by Stefania (aka Bunny) From the moment I spoke with her, Stefania was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. She quickly looked up the correct battery for my vehicle and offered to install it for me right there in the parking lot. She handled everything efficiently and with a positive attitude the entire time. Thanks to Stefania, I was able to get back on the road without having to call roadside assistance or wait for a tow truck. Exceptional customer service like this is hard to find these days, and it truly made a stressful situation so much easier. What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
