Felt like you had to be confrontational just to get his attention and I asked and waited in line. Pages necessary for determining the part I needed were torn out. Horrible experience. I’d like to add after I spoke with the employee for help, he said he was unable to. After I left, he walked outside and starting smoking cigarettes outside the door.

He told me they are not allowed to do any of this. I understand rules and policies have to be followed. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it including your body language to a person. That’s horrible customer service! Even if you don’t like your job be more kinder. Have a smile. Don’t treat customers as if they are your enemy. I forgot to mention I have had great service in the past from other employees in this Store, but today I felt unwelcome.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
