  This was one of the better experiences I have had at a car dealership. From the moment we walked in we were treated very well by the manager Hank and salesman Akbar and not in that “pressure sales feel” kind of way. We had a clear idea of what we wanted and they worked to meet our needs.

  I had an excellent experience purchasing my ID.4 from Sheehy Volkswagen of Springfield. My salesman, Jimmy, went above and beyond during my purchase process. As someone who came from out of state, he was kind, patient, and understanding from the moment we first spoke before I made the trip to Springfield until I drove away with the vehicle. With many car salespeople nowadays attempting to employ aggressive sales tactics and sell you add-ons you don't need, Jimmy was the complete opposite of this. He was the type of salesman I would hope that everyone would have the opportunity to work with when going through the often stressful process of buying a car. He wasn't pushy, there were no junk fees added on, and everything was fully transparent. Jimmy told me he had only been a salesman for five months (as of July 2026), but if he had told me he had 10 years of experience, I would have believed him.

  If I could go minus I would. I called Sheehy and spoke to Ram the Sales Manager. I told him I lived in Florida and my Grandaughter in NJ. I was going to put the deposit on a Tiguan for her and he gave us a fare price. When my Grandaughter got there, she was there for 6 hours, Amin called me for my deposit and couldn't seem to work the card calling me 4 times before he managed to successfully take the deposit. An hour and half later I was called and told she didn't qualify for a lease. I said I would co-sign. 2 hours later he called to say I had to go first on the lease. I told him forget it then. First there is no reason I had to go first, it has nothing to do with the obligation for the debt. He wanted to know why I wouldn't do it. I said it's not my car, the car is for her, she lives in another State and the vehicle needs to be in her name and registered in NJ. He called me back and said that registering the car in NJ would not be an issue. So I agreed. 4 weeks later I get a call and Amin says the dealership made a mistake and registered in Florida. I was upset and told him to get my Grandaughter another Temp tag and get this fixed! It has to be registered in NJ. He sent me papers to sign again and he would take care of it and was very sorry. Over 2 weeks later, a Title Clerk calls me to tell me that the car has to be registered in Florida. I told her no. This is not what I was told and made it clear from the very beginning it had to be registered in NJ. She said I have to get it insured in Florida. I told her she can either fix this or go pick up the car in NJ. She tried this same conversation a second time and I told her the same thing. She said again I have to get it insured in Florida. I told her it was Insurance Fraud and she shouldn't recommend customer commit Insurance Fraud and to pick up the car or get it registered in NJ. She said she would get back to me and hasn't called me in over a week and has not answered the phone. So I have no idea what's going to happen but a dealership shouldn't lie to customers to make a sale and then expect the customer to face the consequences because they lied. They should also contact a customer when there are issues like this, we need to know what is going on.

  We recently purchased a 2026 Volkswagen Atlas from VW Springfield after returning the lease on our 2023 Jetta, and the entire experience was outstanding.
