Great experience! The Jersey cousins (sorry, I didn't their names, said "M. Golden on the receipt- and yes, they were Golden!) were fabulous to deal with, very informative and helpful. This was the first time we rented a 26' truck with lift. It was there on time and the check out was seamless, with some great instruction on how to use the lift. They also told us where we could get diesel fuel close to the drop off for when we returned. We retuned it early, and the gentlemen were very helpful and got us "checked out" with no delays.
Highly recommend the Loisdale Rd., Springfield crew!
My wife and I have moved a bunch in the last few years. Nothing ever goes to plan, there is always some sort of hurdle. We chose Penske for this move. Like always, a speed bump occurred. Battery died. After calling customer service, I was fortunate enough to speak to Xavier P who SAVED THE DAY. He got a technician out to us as fast as possible and called us to give us progress reports so which made the delay bearable.
10/10 recommend Penske for the quality of their trucks, stellar customer service, and quick response to correct issues free of charge to get you back on the road and driving. Thank you Xavier P!

These guys were the best. Top tier, straightforward, good truck. I'll rent from them again before I deal with anybody else.
Rented a truck for a coast-to-coast move. Unlimited mileage included with discounts for web reservations, veterans/military and AAA. Just be aware if you return the truck early, you won't get a refund for the unused days. Plan your drive carefully.
BEWARE - don't let the agent here insist on checking the fuel as full on diesel trucks when the gauge reads 3/4 tank. You will be charged based on what the GAUGE SAYS when you drop off the truck at another facility. On the truck I rented, I was never able to get the gauge to read even close to full. The agent told me that the gauges always read low, and that fuel was full because you could see fuel in the tank. Knowing nothing about these trucks, I took his word for it, and was charged $8.00 per gallon for 9.3 gallons of fuel, when in fact the gauge read the same or higher when I returned the truck with as much fuel as the Costco pump would permit me to pump into the tank.
