  I have a sixteen-year-old car. I needed to replace a cracked tail light to pass inspection. The nice man at the desk suggested I find a salvage light to save money, which I did. Mr.Tire replaced the tail light with the salvage light for $350. A little over a month goes by and a fellow driver honks and tells me my tail light is out. I drive directly to Mr. Tire and they tell me my salvage light was probably bad and suggested I buy a new tail light this time. I was told that the light was working after the first repair, but I had no way of knowing this to be true. So I, who knows very little about cars, used a flash light and Youtube videos to figure out the light was not plugged into the power source. A square socket had no plug. I was able to fix the tail light. If Mr. Tire had only taken a minute to check.

  If you are looking for a place that provides rude customer service and plays with your time, this is the spot for you. I called a day ahead to book an appointment for the following day at 12pm to have my car serviced. The original person at the desk said the work would be done by 2p. It was 2:06p and they had not even started on my car. When I asked for an update he couldn’t give me a time frame. At the same time the rest of the staff was smoking outside, chit chatting. The only person that gave me good service was the person who booked the appointment. His name is Leon. But I will never come back here again.

  I set an appointment for a specific time. Arrived well before. I expected to get in and out fairly quickly. However, 45 minutes later they still hadn't even looked at the car. I understand it doesn't always happen quickly but I observed workers just hanging out, smoking, on their phones. Before I left I went to see if I could see why it was taking so long and saw 6 or 7 guys just standing around a car with the hood up. Not looking at it. Just chatting. That and the time that had gone by made me request my key back. Manager was very friendly but just didn't make me feel very confident in their services.

  They were honest with me about the time it would take, they did a good job, and I was able to plan around it. I loved dealing with them. The only downside was trying to call them. They use an answering service that seemed ineffective or inefficient at getting messages to them. So I just went in person, which was easier. Thankfully the crew is easy to talk to and work with in person!

  I went to Mr. tire because my tire pressure light came on as a solid yellow warning. I was told that two TPMS sensors needed to be replaced and I agreed to have the work done. When I picked up the vehicle the tire pressure light was no longer solid. It was flashing. I was told that I just needed to drive the car and the light would go off after driving more than 20 miles. The light was still flashing. I contacted my regular mechanic, who advised me that the light should go out after the sensors are properly calibrated, and that simply driving the vehicle should not be necessary to clear a flashing TPMS warning. I returned to Mr. tire but they were unable to calibrate the system, and the light is still flashing. I now have an appointment with my regular mechanic to diagnose and correct the issue. I appreciate that Mr. tire replaced the sensors, but I am disappointed that I left with a warning light still active and without the issue being resolved. At this point, I do not know the final outcome or whether the sensors themselves are the issue. I have an appointment with my regular mechanic next week to properly diagnose the problem. I will update my review once I have more information, but I wanted to share my experience up to this point.
