  Beware older vehicles - looks like Pilot has switched all gasoline grades below "super premium" to E15 (15% ethanol). Older vehicles are not designed for it, and it can damage your engine. Unfortunately, I'm not going to pay the extra $1 per gallon for the super premium, so I can no longer stop at Pilot (it was my go-to on the long trip between VA and NC on 95.

  I just stopped here and had an amazing experience! First of all - Shenelle was amazing and nice and fast and professional! She helped me print out a email and that took no time at all ! Then Mr. Rafael waited on me and checked me out ! He was also professional and fast and so nice ! I recommend this place for travelers in trucks and cars who need food and gas!   I recommend nobody ever go to this pilot. I went here and got a sub from Subway for one. The employee acted like he didn’t give a shit put way too much pepper on my sandwich. I can’t even eat it. It’s in edible. That’s how bad it is. And they’re telling me the only way I can get a refund is if I go back to the store I’m a truck driver. I can’t turn around. This is the worst pilot I have ever been to and they will never get another dime of my money or my company money. I will be reporting this place to corporate because this is inexcusable.

From the moment you pull in, you’ll notice how clean and well-maintained the property is. Plenty of parking makes it easy for both trucks and cars, and the layout is super convenient. Inside, the store is fully stocked with snacks, drinks, hot food, and all the essentials for the road. The bathrooms and showers are top-notch — consistently clean, fresh, and clearly well taken care of, which is huge when you’re on a long haul. The staff here really stands out too — friendly, fast, and always willing to help, making the whole stop feel welcoming. This Pilot truly feels like a home away from home on the highway. If you’re heading down I-95 South, do yourself a favor and take that Exit 4 — you won’t regret it! 🚛💨
