The charging stations were great, but the directions needed to have explicit instructions that the stations are on the bottom level of the parking deck.

Located at a Pilot gas with a Subway and a Dunkin Donuts. Had to connect twice due to some issue, but got ~240kW

Updated Review: Two stalls with two 400kW shared plugs. First pair didn’t work. Another driver told us it didn’t work for them. I called the number on the charger and talked with the Pilot GM representative who said this stall was reported a few days ago with the same issue but a car was charged after that report. He said a report would be filed and a service person would be sent out if it can’t be repaired remotely. I’m concerned that this was the second time this happened to me at a GM Energy Pilot station on that day. It has plug and charge for Chevy/GM EVs. I don’t know if plug and charge works for other vehicles. Plug and Charge is a game changer for EVs. Like Tesla, you pull up, plug in and everything just happens. It knows your vehicle’s payment system so you don’t need to do anything. This will be one of our stops for charging on each trip through this area. Original Review: Feb 18, 2025 We pulled into this Pilot station because it has the GM Energy chargers which we like. This EVgo station has two 350kW dual shared chargers so four EVs can charge at once. One charger said “Out of Service” but the other three were available. We started our charging session and I went for a two mile walk. Upon my return my wife was trying to help a woman with a rented Chevy Bolt EVU that charging kept failing for her. I got it to work but not that I did anything special. She said “I don’t think I could ever buy an EV. Every time someone has a bad experience it hurts EV adoption. Already you have to take much longer to charge and it costs more than gas to charge on the road. We need 99% reliability if we want the average ICE owner to buy an EV. The price for 66.48 kW was $34.57 total charge. 55 minutes at $0.52, not bad. I want to see all chargers under $0.50 a kW with $0.30 about the equivalent of current gas prices. When will we see the price listed on the large station sign along with gas prices? With all of that said, we did fine here and would go back again. It’s a nice area without much traffic. I enjoyed my two mile walk. The chargers are at the front of the station so you see them as you pull into the station. It’s a Pilot so it has a clean bathroom, a good selection of food and drinks. While I’m giving a 4 Star review, my guess is the other women would have given a 2 Star review. I would have given it a 5 Star review if it wasn’t for the Bolt issue. I also think we lost her as a future EV owner.
