  ### Buyer Beware — My Experience With This Store Buyer beware! After this experience they have poor character and run a shabby business! **My timeline:** **July 2025:** I took my son, who is in his early 20s, to this store for a set of 50,000-mile tires. His vehicle had approximately 31,000 miles. October 2025 The tires were already showing significant wear. He rotated the tires himself. January 2026 — 43,000 miles:** The tires were wearing extremely badly and the vehicle developed a shake. I told him to take it back to the NTB location in Salem. They rotated the tires and sold him an alignment. **April 2026:** The tires had developed extreme wear, and one tire had a broken belt. The technician, Matt, documented the warranty information and sold my son an additional $16 warranty. He told him the warranty was based on tread depth rather than mileage. Because a new tire had just been purchased, we were later told the warranty would be based on the newest tire. The April invoice also did not include the vehicle mileage. August 2026 — 53,000 miles on car, The vehicle had now traveled only about 22,000 miles since the original 50,000 mile tires were installed, yet the remaining tires had extreme wear. Feel the bands, loosing air. At this point, I became involved. We went to the store and spoke with Michael (the new manager whom told the previous two during this timeline or no longer with the company probably because of problems with this store.) He told us that the employees previously involved were essentially trying to get out of doing the warranty work and had given my son the runaround. While I appreciated his willingness to acknowledge that something had gone wrong, my son understandably took that personally. He left upset and said he would never do business with the company again. I still wanted the warranty honored. Two days later, I personally took the vehicle back to the store and ordered a new set of tires. I was told they could not give me the exact final price until Monday, after the warranty department was contacted. Monday brought four calls with corporate customer service and Holly, the manager handling the warranty. After going back and forth, the final offer was a “50% goodwill credit of the cost of the 3 remaining original tires.” applied toward the purchase of another set of tires BUT only if we also paid for another alignment. They also would not recognize my military discount. The tires cost less at Goodyear with the discount. At that point, this became about more than tires. **Good character means doing the right thing when nobody is watching — especially when you’re dealing with a young customer who may not understand every detail of a warranty. **My advice: RUN! But If you purchase tires here, document your mileage, keep every invoice, understand exactly what the warranty covers, tires have to be rotated every 5,000 miles, and get everything in writing, because they hide behind the “fine print”.
