  1/31/2025 Con Artist Bill I had Kel-Cam Tire and Auto perform a customer provided Oil Change, which I provided an OEM Honda Oil Filter along with Royal Purple 0W-20. I stopped here on this day because my original Mechanic Shop was unavailable and I was overdue for my oil change. I have been taking my car to the same shop in Madison county for 5 Years, basic service of oil changes, with the occasional brakes and rotors. 5 star service 24/7 While waiting during my service time, Bill, who works at the front desk, comes out to me in the waiting area to inform me that my drain plug had been stripped and they are going to need to Drill and Tap my oil to install new Drain Plug. He then proceeded to show me a drain plug and go on to explain the work they had to do because of this stripped drain plug. Heated in the moment from this mans blatant dishonesty, as I've used my same mechanic for 5 years, I let it be. I addressed my remaining questions when they called me up for payment. During our encounter at the counter, I asked Bill what size drill they used and he was unable to answer the question. I continued to ask more questions and the employees behind the counter, jumped in and said they used a tool called a "Remer" to Drill. This is written on the bill of service attached on the pictures attached. I asked them if they wouldn't mind showing me the work, but they said they had already taken it off the lift. I came here for a customer provided Oil change in where I am usually charged $20 to my original Quality, Honest Mechanic Shop. Kel-Cam Tire and Auto charged me a total of $142.94. $60.62 for own Parts oil install and filter & $74.11 to Drill & Tap Oil Pan Drain Plug Install New Plug.... I hope you have a better experience than I did!!

  These gentlemen saved my honeymoon as we caught a puncture driving late night in the mountains on the way to Shenandoah NP. They got me in first thing, repaired, cleaned, plugged, and permanently patched my tire in under and hour and for about $50. I was back on the road and back to our vacation before my wife even got out of bed for the day. They were polite, professional, and ran a clean shop with a very welcoming waiting area (including fresh-ground homebrewed coffee!) If I was a local, they would be my shop for life. As a visitor, I guarantee you will be treated more than fairly.

  $10k+ in repairs and still doesn't run right. They had my vehicle for 2 weeks and I had to repeatedly call to get updates. They had to keep my vehicle for an extra week for a bolt that they mistakenly threw away. Didn't even have the decency to call me on a Friday when it was supposed to be done, that meant the earliest was the following Tuesday. Service rep talks over your questions and hurries you off the phone. Did some research to help them fix my start issues, made me feel stupid and said they would call me back. Haven't received that call, pretty typical. Called another shop with my concerns and they knew exactly what I was talking about. They are Expensive, untimely and horrible customer service.

  Hopefully no one needs a tow. This place is all about money. 1575 for you a tow!! If you’re gonna get over on people make it make sense.

  Took my van in for an alignment got it back driving the worst it is ever driven in 6 years. A $308 alignment and my steering wheel is crooked which I can deal with but my van constantly pulls to the right and about 45 mph my van glides to the right on its own and comes back which you can feel in the steering wheel which is kind of scary. I called the guys immediately he blamed it on my brand new tires and told me it could be low air told me to drive in a while. I took it to another big name shop in the area had a guy test drive and they immediately knew something was wrong. I have emailed the shop they will not return my call and quite honestly I don't want to take it back to someone who won't even take responsibility for a mistake or even help me try to fix the issue. But I had no problem forking out $300 for an alignment..The guy even told me My rear springs were broke which they're not broke the other mechanic stated they're very old and crusty but they're not broke they just worn. This was just a couple of weeks ago I've been driving my other van because of this and now I will be getting another alignment from another shop to fix my problem. I would not recommend taking your vehicle there at least for alignment I can't speak on any other things. But the fact you call them immediately about an issue and they blame it on brand new tires is beyond me.
