  When my flight arrived, there were approximately 50-60 people who had reservations with National in line; me included. There were no vehicles available and everyone was required to wait for the next available vehicle to arrive - whether or not it was what you had reserved or regardless of if you had executive aisle status. I had to wait almost an hour for a small car. The only associate that was available at the Enterprise counter was slightly rude. I get that she was very overwhelmed, but good customer service is still important - especially when the customers were being highly inconvenienced by the lack of vehicles available. During my rental, the car automatically started a software update and would not start for about 30 minutes. I tried to contact someone from National to see if there was a way to override the update but was not able to reach anyone. This is the only negative experience I have had with National since I have been a member. I will continue to rent through National, but I will NEVER rent a vehicle through National at the Roanoke location again.

  The staff was excellent and super accommodating when I left my keys in the car at the return lot. Prime example of why I only rent through National! Best customer service at a National counter I’ve had yet!

  I had a great experience renting from National. The car was clean and the pickup and drop off were seamless. The gentleman who helped me was nice and helpful. Returning the car was so easy. I would definitely consider renting from National again.
