  I rented a car here, and didn’t realize it at first, but the wheels were not aligned properly on the car that they provided. Once I got onto the highway, though, it became very apparent and I was not able to go more than about 55 miles an hour all the way up to Washington DC and back, so it took me a lot longer both ways and caused me to be late. When I returned the car to the Roanoke Airport’s Enterprise, the desk agent asked me how the car was, and I said it was ok except for a significant alignment problem. She then said, almost instantly, as if it were a refrain used all the time, that she would have her manager contact me to see if he could make it up to me, but of course, no manager ever called. Won’t use Enterprise at ROA again, despite frequently using Enterprise regularly at other locations in the US.

  Reserved a standard SUV the night before as both my husband and I have neurological injuries making it difficult to get in and out of lower vehicles. Had to leave ASAP the next morning, no vehicle available. Had to take whatever they had. Made for a difficult trip.

  Lady attendant made me walk all the way back out to the car and get the keys and bring them in to her. She said otherwise she was going to charge me for an extra day. All the other locations let us just leave the keys in the car. I don't think I should be faulted because this location is short handed

  Classic rental car counter, they can take reservations, but can't "hold" reservations...Classic Seinfeld...an everyday reality of renting cars. I rented through Expedia a luxury SUV (Q5). No wait at the counter, easy process to get "checked in". Had to wait 5 minutes to get the keys to my suggested alternate class of vehicle (Full size/Premium SUV) which is actually a more expensive class of rental. The manager was very courteous and agreable.
