  I have yet to have one service that lasts less than 5 hours at this location. The latest visit was a 25k maintenance check, a safety inspection and a battery test (because it was dying). One hour into the service visit, we got the video that the mechanic was almost done with the 25k check and would get the safety inspection finished up. Then the battery would be checked. An hour after that, we were told that the load test for the batter would take an hour and they were 20 minutes into the test. An hour after that, I saw a car that looked very familiar to mine get parked right outside of the service bay ad the tech walked away. Then we sat.....and sat.....30 minutes go by and the service person said it would be another hour because they were changing the battery and Washington car. An hour later, she must have realized it had been sitting outside of the bay, in plain view, and jumped up to outprocess the car. Saying anything to mgmt is meaningless; this hasn't changed in any of the visits we've done. I also looked up how long a battery load test takes....10 SECONDS. If you were to test the entire car electrical system takes 15 MINUTES MAX. Not only did I sit an hour and 20 minutes for a 10 second test, but I was lied to about how long it actually takes. About to switch back to the Annapolis location. It may be a bit l9nger to drive there, but at least they are honest and get you out on time.....and honor the vehicle pick up service that customers pay for.

  I brought my vehicle in for service in afternoon. They were very busy. I had an appt. To get to by 5:00 pm. I told them and they were able to get my vehicle done in enough time to make my appt. Every time I have had a restriction of time and I tell them at first, then they always accommodate the time accordingly and keep me updated when I am waiting. Thank you 'for the services are always!

  Over the last two weeks my daughter visited this dealership and was treated very unprofessional if though she couldn't purchase a vehicle from shehe Lexus. I also sent two friends over the last 3 weeks to the same dealership. One wanted to pay cash. One had excellent credit who was also snobbed by this dealership. Apparently if you don't fit the a certain category I would say they don't service your property. I requested and talked to the salesman who promised me all sorts of things over the phone told me would call me back and give me all information and make it up and work it out and I never receive a call. Only 3 days later I called talked to Scott that sells manager. I totally discuss it. I asked him if he had a daughter that was treated like this by dealership. Would you purchase a car from them? Our daughter finally went to the Lexus and Chantilly Virginia and was treated excellent. Got the deal she wanted. It wasn't most wonderful experience. She had purchasing Alexis but not from the Lexus of she. He Lexus on my loatheon very prejudiced dealership of people of color. I would not purchase a vehicle from them at all now unless you're that type of person

  I was just here on Monday for my tire rotation and everything went smoothly. I was informed on what I may need next service or the service after that on a video by the technician that was sent to my email and phone that was working on my vehicle. I love that Lexus Service does videos of your vehicle to show you what’s going on and that’s a big step up honestly. Even though I came early I was able to get in and out with a nice wash and vacuumed on my vehicle while I was waiting for the service to be done. Everything is always top notched when I come here and the team of Lexus always make sure I’m well taken care of.

  I arrived on time for a scheduled maintenance and nevertheless spent over 3 hours waiting for the vehicle to be serviced. While my service advisor was courteous, no one provided me with updates during the wait. It was not until the 2-hour mark that I had to track someone down myself to ask about the status of my vehicle. And after that, I was given one update that my vehicle was currently being worked on. My advisor mentioned that it was a busy day, but this was only communicated to me at the very end of the transaction, after I had already spent 3 hours waiting. If I had been informed of this long wait, I would have come back another time. I understand that unexpected delays happen. However, this was not my first experience with long wait times here, and this occurred on a weekday with a scheduled appointment. A 3-hour wait for routine maintenance is disappointing, particularly for an EV with no oil change and limited routine maintenance requirements. What concerns me most is whether this reflects a broader issue with service capacity at Sheehy. Richmond is a growing market, and Lexus currently has only one dealership serving an even larger area. I hope Sheehy and Lexus corporate will look seriously at whether additional service capacity is needed. I'm giving three stars because of the good facilities and amenities and the generally pleasant employees. However, the service experience itself was disappointing, particularly the lack of communication during the extended wait.
