  Good customer service, but unfortunately poor attention to detail and workmanship We have now had three separate negative experiences with Grease Monkey, and unfortunately, the pattern has become difficult to overlook. Our first visit was for an oil change. After leaving, we discovered that the splash shield underneath the vehicle had not been secured properly and was dragging on the ground. We had to return to have the issue corrected. During our second visit, we were told that the cabin air filter was missing and had not been put back into the vehicle. This was concerning because it raised questions about how carefully the vehicle was being serviced and reassembled. Our most recent visit was for a battery replacement and tire rotation, and unfortunately, we experienced several more issues. The battery was later found to not have been secured properly, and the vehicle subsequently experienced repeated starting problems. We also began experiencing a vibration/shaking from the rear of the vehicle shortly after the tire rotation, which led to the shop determining that a tire likely needed balancing. The wheels also had to be checked and the lug nuts tightened. What was perhaps most frustrating about this visit was that a technician forgot to return our vehicle keys. We drove away without realizing the keys had been left at the shop. The shop also did not contact us to let us know they still had our keys. We only discovered the problem later when we needed to leave and couldn’t find them, at which point we had to call the shop ourselves to see if the keys had been left there. To be fair, the customer service from the employees has generally been friendly and courteous, and we appreciate that. Unfortunately, good customer service alone cannot make up for repeated issues with the actual service being performed. After three visits with problems involving an unsecured splash shield, a missing cabin filter, an improperly secured battery, wheel/tire concerns, and even our keys being left behind without notification, we have unfortunately lost confidence in the quality and attention to detail being given to our vehicles. Our overall impression is that the staff are friendly, but the work appears to be rushed and lacking the level of care, thoroughness, and attention to detail that customers should be able to expect from a professional automotive service center. We shouldn’t have to discover problems after leaving the shop or return multiple times to have basic service issues corrected. At this point, we will likely be taking our vehicles elsewhere.

  Came in around 8:45am to get oil change and state inspection. Originally I was going to drop my car off but asked the manager if they would be able to get it done before 9:30am. He said he would have to check the schedule and then said they could be done in about 45 minutes. Passed inspection but there were some other things wrong that they showed me, like the cabin and engine air filters needing to be changed, battery testing weak, and a nail in my tire that was causing it to lose pressure. They also stated all four tires would need to be replaced without really telling me anything else about why. Overall, fair price with coupon for full synthetic oil change, state inspect, rotation, engine and cabin air filter replacement.

  Great service today. Jeff took really good care of me and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. They got me in quick, explained everything clearly, and even helped me out with a discount when I really needed it.
