I initially had a very positive experience with Enterprise. The first associate I worked with was professional and transparent about the fact that the first vehicle smelled strongly of smoke. He acknowledged it upfront and adjusted the fuel return requirement, which I appreciated.
A few days into the rental, however, the rear driver-side tire on the first vehicle repeatedly showed low tire pressure. I added air multiple times before realizing there was likely a slow leak. When I contacted Enterprise, they were very accommodating and came to my workplace to switch out the vehicle, which I appreciated and thought resolved the issue.
Unfortunately, within just a couple of days of receiving the replacement vehicle, I experienced the exact same issue. The tire pressure warning came on, I added air once, and shortly afterward the tire went completely flat. At that point, I was extremely frustrated because this was now the second rental vehicle with tire problems during the same rental period.
What made the situation worse was how inconvenient and unresolved the process became afterward. I contacted Enterprise and was transferred to roadside assistance, where I was told it would cost $65 for someone to come change the tire because I had not purchased rental coverage. I did not feel that I should be financially responsible for a tire issue on a rental vehicle, especially considering this was the second car with the same type of problem. Thankfully, my fiancé was able to come help change the tire instead.
When I called the branch again to arrange another exchange, the interaction felt very dismissive and lacked empathy. I explained that I was in the middle of an extremely busy workweek and trying to coordinate transportation while also managing leadership responsibilities at the hospital during Nurses Week and Skills Day events. Instead of trying to help problem-solve, I felt pressured to provide an exact exchange time immediately, despite the circumstances. What was especially frustrating was that Enterprise had previously accommodated a workplace vehicle swap during the first issue, but that option was no longer offered or discussed.
At that point, the situation had become so inconvenient that I stopped driving the rental entirely and relied on my fiancé to drive me to and from work until my personal vehicle was repaired.
I understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, and I recognize that the initial staff member handled the first problem very well. However, the repeated tire issues, the roadside assistance charge, and the lack of empathy and resolution afterward left me disappointed overall. The experience started positively but ultimately ended in a way that felt unresolved and unnecessarily stressful.

The absolute worst rental experience I’ve had.. I been told two different times that they could switch a car that has 70% percent working ac ( I’m hot in here ) also the horn doesn’t work at alll… I been lied to about getting switched out twice and when I call the day off it changes and nobody has ever put it in. I wish I took the names of the the guy and female that was supposed to help me on two different occasions but left me to figure it out myself. Which is ridiculous I’ll never rent from here again or recommend my worst enemy

Now I see why it was referred to as the "Worst Car Rental Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs!"
If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. I had a confirmed reservation, complete with a confirmation email from this location. Everything seemed fine until, just 15 minutes "after" my scheduled pick-up time, they called to let me know that no cars were available, and I was already on my way to this location.
No solutions were provided, nothing at all. I was informed that I would receive a call back with no guarantee 💯 of a rental. Additionally, when I asked about compensation for the inconvenience, Justin stated there was nothing he could do; I just had to wait and see.
They didn’t even try to find an alternative vehicle or offer any help. Instead, they communicated in a rather pleasant manner that no cars were available at all today!
This level of incompetence and disregard for customer responsibilities is completely unacceptable.
This location completely disrupted my plans and showed no concern whatsoever.
I have another enterprise location booked for this afternoon with guaranteed availability!
Just unprofessional, step up your game; other locations are outstanding!
